Since its back to school season, I thought it was only appropriate that I make a school essentials video :) I hope you loved this week's video because I sure did love filming it! I don’t want to say old school but I love how old school you are just like me. I still love to take notes with pen and paper. I love how you recommended a watch other than an Apple Watch because it is expensive and nursing is messy. Also love that the watch is in military time! That’s awesome. I haven’t gotten accepted into a nursing program yet but I’m working on it. Thanks for all the tips in advanced 😌

I have seen so many of these videos and this was by far the most helpful. The other ones I have watched are soooo expensive and mostly talk about which color scrub is their favorite. ANYWAY thank you so much, catch me next year with massaging my back while studying!

I start my second semester in nursing school and because of the pandemic the first 6 weeks will be virtual. I really found what you suggested super helpful!

gurl im ganna buy the back massager right now! lol! And ya i just got the digital copies of our books i saw all these students walking around with huge ass backpacks on wheels and they looked like they were struggling!!! i said no maam not me!

Very good video! I am currently in nursing school. However, I graduate in three weeks #RN2020 😊. One resource I love and use the most is Saunders NCLEX-RN review book! This book should really be on every nursing student's essentials list. It breaks the content down, gives NCLEX tips throughout the book and also has online resources, where you can do as many practice questions as you want. Best of luck to you in school and on KZfaq!

Hi Darian! I have to get the back massager! Stress isn’t good and plus I tend to get very tense in my shoulders. I thought I was the only one who likes hard cover books. How about that!! I also will check out the book stand too. Thanks for this video and have fun in school!

I am starting school soon I believe next week and I do have a question.. should we start getting these essential items after I take my pre reqs classes? I am going to go through CC to get any pre reqs and thinking about transferring to a University ☺️

All the people in my school, just are there with their computers or Ipads and I tried but...I didn't feel good with that. I'm with the old school : notebook and pen :) . In my house I have a tower of all my notebooks classes that I had taken.

Vanessa I wish I could help you more than I’m able to but mine didn’t have a weird smell to it when I bought it. maybe return it and get a different one, I don’t think that’s normal🤭

Silly question, but do you need your own printer for nursing school? Or does the school allow you to print there for free?

Mira Villa that’s not a silly question! I prefer having my own printer bc I can print in color and as much sheets as I want. I know it depends on each school but my school only allows 100 pages to be printed for free and then after you exceed that mark you have to page 10cents/page. So I guess it’s just personal preference, I hope that helps☺️

I would like to know how hard is to become a Register Nurse? how was the process? Im a high schooler but Im debating to go for a RN or another careeer. What were your questions that you had when you were in high school about RN?

Emily Martinez you take two years of prerequisites. (Classes like anatomy, math, English), and then you take an entrance exam called the hesi, or teas. The.n you can apply to nursing school which is two years if you are going for the bsn. I would research schools you want to go and look up the requirements because many schools require different things!
