I have one in ceramic gray. Don't have the power folding mirrors. Have the big tow mirrors and mine has built in navigation. No etorque on mine either. Has 38,000 miles on it now and I still love it. It's a shame the hemi is being discontinued. I'm gonna run this truck until it dies.

I’m driving a 16 doublecab Tacoma and I would consider the Built to Serve Ram. Too nice and I’d be extremely happy.

Its between this in Anvil or a lower spec'd Quad Cab Rebel for slightly more. The BTS is amazingly optioned.

As a veteran I absolutely love this edition but I wish it was available in a higher trim level.

I have a 2020 Built to Serve and the tires rub when turning . I recieved the recall notice about the wrong springs installed , took it to a dealership and they said the recall was only for military vehicles . I guess I will try a different dealership . Also I'm a little upset that the drivers seat has small tears in it at 16000 miles , I will ask the dealership about that also .

Why is it so hard for these reviews to actually list the specs of the BTS edition. Completely skipped over the best parts that are standard with it. The 9 speaker alpine, the off road package, the gun locker in the center console that's only in the BTS edition, the led lighting package. The Falken tires are specific for this edition too. It combines like 4 or 5 different add-ons and packages at a discount plus custom colors and rims and tires. Win win and rare with only about 6k being made.

All features and configurations of the Big Horn / LoneStar lineup are offered. As of today (7/16/2020) there are 157 units total on the ground, nationwide, and another 579 total in transit. Of those, 23 are Crew Cabs with a 6'4" box and 12 are Quad Cabs with the 6'4" box. I'm showing 22 left on the ground in Gator and 39 left in Black (1st run - Army) with the Wheat interior stitching. There are 405 of the Patriot Blue and 274 of the Ceramic Gray (2nd run - Navy) units in the pipeline or on the ground. I'm not sure if the full 2,000-unit Navy inspired colors with the blue interior stitching are to be built. Unlikely we will see the Marine, Air Force or Coast Guard version as the Covid-reduced 2020 model year has been fully allocated. Hopefully the remaining 5,000 units will be offered in the 2021 model year. A really cool package overall, but it is just that - a package. The other RAM features can be chosen as well, including all engine types, Level 1, Level 2 equipment groups, 4C Nav 8.4" or Uconnect 12.0" Nav, spray-in liners, drop-in liners, etc, etc. Range of the MSRPs of available units goes from a low of $41,470 up to $61,455, so there should be just about every worthy configuration represented inside that $20K spread.

I have noticed that they had not corrected the issue for the 2020 model year with the power folding mirrors banging against the window glass where as they should be stopping just short of the glass some exterior mirrors have had to be replaced because the gears are stripping as the mirrors pushing against the glass for the 2019 model year

Correct me if I'm wrong but the off road package comes with a locker, skip plates and suspension that the rebel has but none of the aesthetics.

Truck looks nice but I’m not crazy about the basic gauge cluster. I know it’s a base model but the cluster looks too ordinary. Maybe I’m spoiled by my ‘15 Rebel. I’d like to see a deep forest green Rebel.

Went to my dealer asking about this version and they had no idea what I was talking about. Glad you provided a review on this one. Interior upholstery is really nice, but sad to see they skimped on the guage cluster and gave it one with the smaller screen and the lower level head unit. Would have preferred that they have a sunroof on these or offer it with the Rambox. I'm waiting for the Marine Corps tribute version to come out in the "Tank" color.this may be the one to give me that last push to go with the 4x4 version over the RWD, although because of my needs I would prefer the 2x4 with the 3.21. Thank you.

Could you please keep us updated on the rear window and rear window assembly for the ram 1500 as you review these trucks? I understand there were many from the earlier model years where the frame was cracking i’m leaking water as a result when it rains or when the truck is being washed. and they had to be replaced under warranty I believe the manufacturer has come up with a fix a new reinforced we are window frame for the 2020 model year? I am considering a ram rebel and I just want to make sure that they have corrected this issue thank you

I have a 2019 ram 1500 classic big horn. Beyond the leather seats I dont see much reason to go for this. I see it trades off some of the creature comfort features mine has for the sake of a couple of extra offroad bits but it still manages to sticker higher and I'm guessing that the discounts on this version aren't nearly as deep

They need to change your exterior. GM and Ford are still the best looking trucks on the market. I had a 2019 rebel and I don’t care for the center console on the Rams. Everything slides out. Traded in my rebel for a ford.

Really wish they would limit this to veterans/first responders due to the limited run. No dealerships I have come across in metro Detroit even know how to order these trucks. I wonder if these are snatched up by dealerships and sold at a premium? The fact that this isn’t limited to veterans/first responders is frustrating. Even if they sent some of the profits to a veterans charity I would applaud FCA, but this reeks of a promotional money grab utilizing the armed forces name and goes counter to honoring military/first responders. For those of you that will call me out as being jealous for not being able to get this truck...you’re right I am totally jealous because I love the look and features but can’t even sniff an order. Call me jealous but if you’re driving this and you didn’t serve....you’re a poser plain and simple. Maybe Ben can shed some light on who actually can get these trucks?
