2020 Subaru STi Primitive Racing skid plate install

In this video we install the 3/16" skid plates from Primitive Racing on a Subaru VA chassis (2015+ STi), in this case our 2020 WRX STi. We show the R180 rear diff plate install and how to cut the front plastic tray to retain most of the protection with the skid plate in place.

The lack of splash protection is literally my only complaint about the primitive skid plates. It looks like a pain in the ass, but after watching this I am inspired to reach for my Dremel. It'll probably be easier than selling the plastic cover anyway. Any other ideas for how to protect from splashes? Just duct tape some tarp on?
