Aidan Neal yeah i know, but the reff should inform the player to release the ball. How the fvck can the player know hes in the wrong if he clearly on feet, and perfectly jackaling the ball? Its understandable that a reff could have seen it from different angle, thats why he need to tell the player off, not blowing the whistle lolol. You can clearly see that ardie was not a tackler, but on the reff perspective he is, and him assuming that ardie is not clearly releasing the ball. So telling ardie to release the ball is the wise option, not directly blowing the whistle.
