Really sorry for the audio quality, I've been having issues with my Mic and how the editing software exported the audio output. All of this is fixed in my latest videos, and videos going forward! If you can't hear it through your speakers, try using headphones :)

Thanks for this review. We are going to pick ours up on Wednesday! Bit of a bummer that we only get to drive to/from the shops. But at least we can do that in a more fuel efficient car.

Had this 2wd Hybrid cruiser 2020 Brilliant Silver for 1 month now. Just love this car. Drives very smoothly and responsive too. Great video review too. I dont find it noisy. And speedo is digital too and when you use satellite navigation comes up on central so you can see when to turn next. Yes the warnings are a pain . Turned off approaching school zones . Thanks

Is Australia getting the RAV4 Black Edition at all and if yes, when is it coming here? I see it is already launched in US and Europe and looks stunning. I did try and call a couple dealerships here and no one seemed to know anything about it yet. Any update on that new color scheme would help me firm up my buy

I have got mine in the early march (only a month waiting, Lucky me!!) thank for Toyota Cooma dealer. But I cannot get the color I prefer so, we go for the white cruiser hybrid. Which is come out beautiful with black alloy wheels. Luv it

Awesome review mate! One thing though - Toyota hybrid eCVT is not remotely like traditional belt/chaun type cvts. It's the hybrid synergy drive and one most reliable transmissions on the market

I've put my order through this month and get it late august.... :D 2021 hybrid 2.5L AWD Saturn Blue with nutmeg interior and the extra tinted windows. Cant wait :) Toyotas, you just cant beat.

Brilliant car! Agree camera quality is poor however changing instrument cluster to digital is very easy. We bought one a week ago and love it.

Just ordered my Glacier White 2021 Cruiser AWD hybrid on Friday. Looking forward to everything that this car offers. It’ll be a step up from my 2017 C-HR 2WD Koba.

Hey mate, there is sound but because of the way it was recorded the sound works on most, but not all, devices for some stupid reason! Has been fixed in the nezt few videos to come out 🙂

The 2021 is not out yet. This is maybe the 2019 model as Australia had a terrible wait just for the April 2019 release. Yes, AWD as the hybrid uses a rear drive motor for reverse and forward assistance, an eCTV (no belt) in the hybrid, the Entune system is horrible to non working (check the App reviews), you CAN get 44 mpg if you drive nice. Three drive modes. The Premium Infosytem 3.0 (if it is available) can download updated maps. But Waze or Google maps may be better. The 2019 cannot do Auto Android. The 2020 (U.S. model) is having trouble with the 12v battery going dead when not used for a few days or overnight. No definite reason from Toyota why it's just the 2020 hybrid model doing this. Very angry owners, some die after months with no problem, some after a few weeks.

Hey mate, in Australia you can purchase the Rav4 in 2WD with hybrid. I said the car has an eCVT. This is a 2021 model. I said this has 3 drive modes. And more. Have you watched the video?

AUD 50,000 driveway for the cruiser its a lot of money , Love the RAV4 but they missed on little but important details , LCD driver digital screen is low quality plus you cant get to see your map on it (I can see maps on my 2017 Camry Atra x driver screen) cheap tablet look for the center LCD digital information, No panoramic on the Hybrid is no good too, I hope next year they will improve on those issue otherwise i will rather pay the AUD 10,000 extra and get the VW Tiguan R-Line

It's a lot of money for sure, but also not uncommon for the class. I'm reviewing a Kia Sportage this week and it's almost $50k and about the same spec level 🤷

Those rubber dials attract dirt and dust and are hard to clean, I wouldn’t rave about them.

I'm not entirely sure that's true, I know that there have been issues coming out of the US manufacturing plant but I think Japanese plant has been fine. According to Toyota Aus PR, demand has just been extremely high here 😊

@@CarSauce Supply has definitely improved. Walked into a dealership today (Sunday) and ordered the Cruiser Hybrid 2WD...which will be ready for pick-up on Wednesday. Unless you want AWD or one of the more popular colours, there is now reasonably good stock scattered around the country.

There is a high chance we won't see it ever. There have been many trims released elsewhere (for example, Camry TRD) that we won't see here in Australia. If you want something as close to that, it'd be the hybrid cruiser with black wheels!
