The older design is much easier on the eye. That new one is like Marmite. You could love it or hate it. Nothing in between. The old one is pleasing to all I feel.

Is there difference between the gearbox 7 speed dct in the new hyundai tucson and the same gearbox in the old generation of tucson because this gearbox in the old generation had problems as overheating and clutches were needed to change so I want to know if they used better materials in clutches and treated the problem associated with overheating specially in hot weather and traffic conditions as in middle east so I'm from Egypt and l wanted to buy one.

Hi Gavin, thanks for the feedback. As we are a main dealer - sometimes we can get hold of the vehicles before the press. There is a good chance that the pandemic has limited the sharing of press/fleet cars. I am certain they will have something in the pipeline. - Scott

Also, I am not in your area at all, but we do have a local dealer, what about test driving under current conditions, is it allowed?

Hi Paul, under current government guidelines - test drives are not allowed. Our sales team is operating under a ‘digital’ sales process with tailored video walk-around videos and telephone/video calls to guide customers through the process. Hopefully this is how all dealers are operating - letting customers into the showroom and do test drives just isn’t allowed.

How big is the boot ? Seats up & down? Please.

Hi Steven, the boot size varies from 577 - 620 litres, and with the seats down 1756 - 1799 litres.

Does this model have remote start on the key fob?

Hi Steven, the self-charging hybrid does in fact have 'remote start'. This allows you to preheat/cool the vehicle using the fob. The car will run for 10 minutes whilst locked, after which it will then switch off. In the event the car was accessed without the key, the car would recognize this and not allow it to be driven away. - Pebley Beach

Our full time job is selling cars but we make these informative videos on the side to give our customers and others a look at what Hyundai and Suzuki are producing without them having to come into the showroom! If after watching the video someone happens to come and buy one then that's a bonus!

Correct me if I’m wrong the Hyundai Korea introduce this as 2022 model but it comes out early ahead this year 2021….don’t tell us its 2021 model because its in Europe….
