Video of a John Deere 9770 STS combine and Deere FD40 head harvesting winter wheat north of Arcanum Ohio. Also in the video in a Deere 9230 Tractor pulling a Kinze 850 grain cart.
This video was shot just north of Arcanum Ohio as a severe thunderstorm moved in.

I wish I had one or 2 of those STS9770 combines, Theyre one of my favorite models that John Deere made to bad they dont make em anymore. I aways like seeing abit of green during a wheat harvest and I like the 4WD with the grain cart to.

Here in michigan we harvested our wheat from June 27th till July 10th. We had 800 acres and we double cropped soybeans after the wheat. The double crop soybeans had plenty of rain right after planting they look great and have been sprayed twice . Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

I know rain is the bane of a crop harvesters life but those dark clouds in the distance give this video an ominous atmospheric look, especially in last 10 seconds.

Ahhhhhhhhh, the drone master is back! Love the colors and sky!!!!!! Darn clean field, hope they beat the rain. Several rabbits running for their life out the the end of field.

Nice video Mike. I hate to tell you, that was a nice looking tractor and grain cart. lol. Did they plant that the same way they plant beans? I guess I'm used to seeing narrower rows of wheat.

Very interesting! Where I live in Ohio there is a field right next to my house, so I can watch them plow it from my backyard! For those combines, how does the grain go into/out of the combine? It picks up from the front, what is it releasing from the back causing the dust?

I was born on a farm in Celina, Ohio, in 1947, this wheat field looks bigger than our whole farm, how many acres is this field, great video

What drone do you fly Mike? As a photographer it's time to get one. I'm looking at the DJI line up. Just got the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 gimbal for my phone. Hope to video some of my friends farms here in Iowa sometime. Great work your doing, very inspiring. 👏

I myself am looking at the new mavic mini, no license required as its less than 250 grams. and the usa is mirroring Canadas drone rules here pretty quick

I now have a total of five DJI Drones. I have two worn out Phantom II's, A Phantom 4 Pro, A Mavic Pro and Mavic Air. The Mavic Pro was used in this video and I haven't flown the Mavic Air very much.

@@farmhandmike Thanks Mike! The view from a drone is where video is nowadays. I am waiting on the Mavic 3 release but might just get the Mavic 2 Pro. I'm all ready registered with the FAA and will take the Part 107 test someday, just to be ready.

What is the real point of your job. I’m in high school and not sure what I’m going to do when I graduate so I was wondering where I could get more information about what you do.
