Yamaha FZS 25 BS6 is the base variant in the FZ 25 lineup and is priced at Rs. 1.57 Lakh (ex-showroom, Lucknow). This BS6 variant comes with an engine putting out 20.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and 20.1 Nm @ 6000 rpm of max power and max torque. Yamaha FZs 25 BS6 is available in 3 colours : Green, White And Blue.

Cooling is not a con here. FZ250 is air and oil cooled. Large fins on the cylinder helps in air cooling with a separate oil cooler though not as efficient as the Gixxer250 which is exclusively oil cooled, has no fins on the cylinder. Cooling is more of an engineering issue depending on the compression ratio and tuning of the engine. No manufacturer will put its reputation at stake by giving an improper cooling system and seizing the engine. Best is if it is not heating up that's great enough and have Faith in the manufacturer. Hornet 2.0 is air cooled , but does not heat up. Have seen "liquid cooled" KTMs overheated and burn legs in many.

Value for money 250 cc bike with yamaha engine reliability. Looking so not good from front But very good night visibility projector light throwing on road.. Batter then r15v3 led head lamp.. Top speed I think 134-138km/hr Good bike for touring And daily use .....

As you said on this video...that You are a Aam admi with aam review BUT this mistake is NOT a Aam mistake... it's a Apple mistake...(BIG MISTAKE). Which is WRONG Bro....☹️ Fz25 is Air cooled with oil cooled, DUAL COOLING systems, which is GREAT...!!!! You can see it's oil cooler or that systems on it's below tank. (Radiator type thing). @@madhav2825 fz15 will win for sure it has only 12.7 bhp and weighs 144 kg anf fz has 12.4 ps and weighs only 137 kilos so that 0.3 ps doesnt make much diffrence

@@umerkhan4818 torque of the Unicorn bs6 is 14 NM @ 5500 rpm and power is 12.9 PS(12.7 Bhp) @ 7500 rpm and kerb weight of 140 kgs(do check the specs correct) and FZ S bs6 has got the power 12.4 ps(12.2Bhp) @7250 rpm and a torque of 13.6 NM @ 5500 rpm and the kerb weight is 137 kgs. FZ S bs6 chance of winning as per specs is not possible. But if FZ S bs6 win it is only because of the Aerodynamic fairing.

OIL COOLER been given in FZ25 to dissipate heat and that OIL COOLER is clearly visible in the new Fz25s model .. The Fz25 S model which you are riding bears an OIL COOLER but still you are rating it as an air cooled motor ..

Yamaha themself say it as air cooled since it is not a proper full fledged oil cooled. Fz 25 has struggled in Ladakh due to absence of air. If it was proper oil cooled that issue would have been there. It is good that yamaha is not showing off that it is oil cooled if so then expectations would be more on performance.

@@roninr8199 A four row OIL COOLER is clearly visible on the new Fz25 engine to dissipate the excess heat and to COOL down the engine oil. The primary function of an oil cooler is to support and protect the AIR cooled motor by dissipating the excess amount of heat from the engine.. There are no terms like Full fledged oil coolers or Partial oil coolers. An Oil cooler is an oil cooler. That's it .. Not only Yamaha, Many Automotive companies around the world would advertise their engines as Air cooled supported by an Oil cooler .. Yamaha is not an exception to this general trend .

@@roninr8199 The problem which your Fz25 encountered in your Ladakh road trip was neither bcoz of Oil coolers nor of any engine heating issues.. It's just bcoz of the lesser amount of oxygen supply to the engine's main chamber in that high altitude environment .. Actually it's the job of fuel injection sensors to pump the correct Air fuel mixtures into the firing Chamber but with the unavailability of required oxygen level in that rough environment, the efficacy of an injection sensor would naturally come down which results in the firing struggles of an engine..

@@amardeepv7466 I would agree with you and instead of saying oxygen I said air. First of all it is not my bike but some KZfaqr. Still there are yamaha bikes which are oil cooled not sure why yamaha fz 25 is still marketed as air cooled. But still I would skip fz 25. Yamaha has literally increased 16k just for bs6 tag with no change in features. Money matters in India and there are better bikes in India to choose.
