I need a small confirmation. In dev orchestrator we have stored credentials in asset. We have shared the nupkg to testing. In testing environment they can able to see that asset right. Every team will have different passwords so they will run with that right.

Nudget Package will not have the password - It will only have the asset Name - Once deployed to Testing - The same asset has to be created in Testing with the password.

The recent version of Orchestrator has no "Environment" option. Can you please check and update us on this? Also, we don't have the option of "Robot".

Yes now we are in the modern design of Orchestator , the Concept of Environment is now replaced by Tenants and Folders.

Yes you can use , it totally depends on you ... It is same like organizing data in a folder ... Ideally all the automation , queues , assets which are related can go in one folder for better segregation .

PDD You can always use UiPath Task capture. I have got some samples for PDD and SDD for your reference. Drop me a note on my mailID available in Descriptions. SDD is a technical document so would have a senior developer / architect review. Sometimes we might need to get an approval from the COE as well.

Hi, Thnks for your presentation..I hav 3 quick questions: 1) U mentioned NFT/Testing manager, Any full form of NFT? 2) Ur Orchestrator above shows a Tab/Option "Testing" . That means it has a Testing environment/Testing access right? In real time if a Dev doesn't have Testing access then That "Testing" option is not available? 3) is there any max limit of number of robots can be executed on 1 specific production machine? What will be the usual ideal number ?

1. Non Functional Test - Excuse me for using the Term- This is what one of my client calls it - It is basically the Testing / Non Production Environment. 2. No That Testing Tab is for the UiPath Test Suite and has Nothing to do with the Testing Environment. This is for the Automation Testing . The Testing Environment / Orchestrator will be Separate 3. At a Time you can Execute only 1 Robot - Yes in Orchestrator We can add any number of Robots to a Machine. Ideally this will depend on how do you want to manage your processes in orchestrator.

wow and excellent video........its amazing .....great video bro.....i have a doubt ...like i need to process 100 transactions and each transaction has to go through 50 steps. Suppose it is processing 56th transaction at 27th step, then power got OFF in your system. and u have seen it 2 hours later, then you ON the system, so when you ON the system, it has to process from the same step for same transaction, HOW? assume you are working in Reframe work and Queues.

Hi Mastan, Appreciate your feedback ! Thank you .. Coming to your Question - There can be following ways 1. For all the Steps - we maintain an status say in Excel / DB and Write it there - Incase of retrigger we check the status and continue from there .. 2. When we Run Back any transaction we check the existing state meaning - lets say in step 27, I paste some Data - So when i Come back - I just come back and check if Data is already pasted - I skip this State.

Here, The Queue Retry would be already available - The code to run from a particular State will have to written separately in Process.xaml

Hi, How many processes we generally develop using REframework in realtime? Like 100% all the processes we develop with RE or 80% with RE? Plz help with the info

Ideally In Realtime , all the Processes will be developed in some kind of Frameworks , Now That can be a RE Framework or some other - When i say some other, Projects will customize the Existing RE as per their Requirement. There are benefits of using Frameworks such as Exception Handling , Config , Logging etc. You also can customize the RE - e.g - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jqqVlrllm5jMcp8.html - Here I have customized the Framework to work for a Linear Process.

Nice superb explanation!I have a question when we schedule an unattended bot to run use cases say 5 am,the bot will run and complete the process even the machine is in off?since we scheduled the bot in cloud

Yes , when ever we trigger an process from orchestrator , the command is sent to the respective uipath assistant , so even if the machine is in locked state , unattended robot has the capability to execute .. Now if the machine is power off , then there would be no uipath assistant , that means the process will fail.

If machine power is off then IT will not run the process even u shedule.for running a process machine should be on condition here on means under the lock or unlock condition.

Thank you for your comment … environment was a concept of the classic folders. Now with the new addition, the classic folders are migrated to the modern folders, which means that we we no longer have the environment concept in the orchestrator rather you have something which is called tenant and the folders.

Both! If depends in the company and the client - However a whole together different orchestrator for Testing is preferable.

How many bots we can run in orchestrator total max number. How many processes should be deployed in orchestrator? Is there any limit in number of bots or processes (max limit number). Thanks in advance sir.

There is no Max Number as Such , At a Time you can run only 1 Processes with One Robot , In terms of Deployment also , you can deploy n Processes to Orchestrator. The thing that will matter is the Licenses you are having and the Kinds of Robots - Say you are using High density Robots - Then in that case - You can have Multiple Robots Running on the same Machine .

Shared location means a shared path .. basically a location which can be accessed by multiple users .. you can create a folder , keep files , restricted the access , and share it

Nudget : Nudget Package - whenever we publish a process from uipath studio , A nudget is created out of the code ... This nudget is required to run the process from orchestrator ...

Yes , .nupkg is called nudget package. Not only to orchestrator you can publish the same to local feed as well

@@MukeshKala ok Bro I have one doubt when we download nudget package I my package have any error let say selector problem as u mentioned.then you told after modification the process we should not published this process through uipath studio.my questions is if i am not published the process then my file is in zip format right now then how i upload my package to orchasestor using upload obtion in package section of orchestrator is it right?if yes then how they convert this zip file into NUPKG package

Whenever we have an issue let say , Selector issue , Steps to follow 1. Fix in studio 2. Deploy to Dev Orchestrator or custom Feed 3. From custom Feed: this will create a nupkg - this can be uploaded directly to dev orchestrator. 4. Now to move the package to higher environment - we can simply download the budget from dev orchestrator and upload to NFT .
