Would it not be easier to tap the factory bed lights if the truck has them from the factory?

@@F150LEDs how do you connect the lights to the factory bed light switch located in the bed of the truck? I have a 23 and would like to wire the lights to the bed switch. Thank you.

Sadly, cannot see where he's applying silicone. Shoving wires under bed cap? seems like they'd rub/expose wire? Camera isn't helpful...😮‍💨

Hey Michael! Sorry the angles were not as helpful as you were looking for! You can route the wires under the bed cap without concern about rubbing and they are almost completely covered. 👍 The silicone is being applied around all of the edges of the LED strips to ensure a tight hold. You can even apply some to the underside of the lights themselves depending on your bed material. Please let us know how we can serve you further! Thanks!

not to mention, it is not a wiring harness he is splicing. A harness has connections that clip into one another... a male and a female. it is not a harness. @@F150LEDs
