I realise you couldn't see from the angle you were fitting dash speaker at but you kept putting it in with wires around the wrong way catching the wires underneath which is why it wasn't sitting flat easy to see from the angle on video but not so easy in the car. Does the old tweeter not come out of the plastic surround that twisted out as looking at the hole that was left the new one doesn't seem to fit well i wonder if your supposed to reuse the original fitting ?

Hello! Great informative install video, thank you! I just bought this exact set for a B9 A5. You mentioned the rear subwoofer in the video and description. To what subwoofer do you refer to? Is there a Bruce Miranda rear subwoofer for the B9?

My car came with an 8" sub powered by the MMI. I replaced the 8" OEM sub with a pioneer 10" sub powered by a kicker key amp. The MMI no longer powers or controls the sub.

Hi there, great video, it's one of a kind since it truly has everything shown! You wouldn't happen to know the Ohm's on the speakers for the dash? The 2 outer speakers and the 1 center? :) Best Regards, D

Thank you. I don't remember what the ohm's. The kit I bought was specifically for my car and everything matched OEM specs.

I used a 7/32 socket. 5mm was too small and 6mm was too big.

Yes, I got them from Bruce Miranda already assembled so everything is plug and play. This kit made it easier for me because I'm not good at wiring or assembling speakers. www.brucemiranda.com/details/p1704730_21779877.aspx

@@benwink98 the front door woofers are Audison Prima 6.5 and the rears are 6.0 with Hertz tweeters. I don't know the make of the dash speakers. You can get the Audison on Amazon

@@benwink98 CORRECTION! The front and rear door woofers are both 6.5 the mounting rings are different sizes for the front and rear doors. Sorry about that.

before installing this kit yourself, did you have the issue where rear deck speaker or woofer would rattle?

I did not have an issue with the OEM subwoofer rattling.

I thought it was just mine that rattled from the factory. I just use a small blanket laid across the back to dampen it

I'm happy with the end result. I did replace the OEM sub with a 10" sub powered by an independent amp. It was worth the money to me because I don't know much about installing speakers and stereo systems. This kit made it easier and less time consuming for me. If you are good at this kind of stuff you could probably do it for less money.

Same here. For me just upgrading the speakers did the job. I also upgraded the sub which is powered by an independent amp.

I've never done this before. I'm not a professional stereo installer. I recorded it so others who want to do it wouldn't make the mistakes I made. If you don't like it make a better install video and post it.
