Audi Q5 45 TFSI Edition 1: Still one of the best SUVs?
The 2021 Audi Q5 might not be the newest contender in the hugely popular premium SUV class, but that doesn't mean it isn't still one of the best. Great review. I’ve just picked up a Q5 (40 TDI S Line model ). Some huge discounts available if buying new. That 32mpg quoted for the petrol version will be more like 25 in the real world hence why I went diesel (also for the great torque). Fantastic car.

@@wigangamer9198 I got rid of mine within a few months. Nothing but problems unfortunately. Multiple instances of the engine and emissions warning light coming on , and it drank 3 litres of extra oil in the time I had it , meaning it was in and out of the dealers all the time (who couldn’t find anything wrong). They offered me more money back than I paid for it , so all good. You should be fine with the TFSI petrol version though. The diesel model turned out to be a total dud. Now driving a Q3 TFSI model Black Edition instead.

@@lewchenko74 bad luck I guess. I currently have a Tiguan R Line petrol, but always liked the look of the Q5 so thought I would take the jump, but the engine will be more or less identical

Always a great review, but that colour blends in with hedge rows, not a good thing if you live in the countryside. Car reviewers keep going on about size of wheels, they never comment on the price for a replacement tyre for those bigger and bigger wheels.

Your comment about the tires is very important. I have a close friend who drives a Volvo XC60. She had one tire that got a nail in it and had to replace all 4 tires! It was over $1200 to do so! This was because it’s an all wheel drive, but your larger point re: the cost of replacing those bigger tires is quite true and relevant to my friend’s recent situation. 😐

@@aic0809 That’s completely untrue. I drive a 2020 BMW X3 and I’ve had a nail in the tyre. It couldn’t be repaired as it was in the sidewall, so I got one new tyre of the same brand. Replacing all four is completely unnecessary and I think the tyre shop was ripping off your friend.

Rebecka playing my favourite game on country roads "Puddle Splashing", especially if there are animals in the fields that are not quick off the mark, otherwise would I spend that amount of money on a car - Not a chance as I don't have it to start with.

Thanks goodness this color is not avail in us. Currently Audi only offers black and white. Grey, silver and blue are unicorns. ie they say they make them but you never see them on dealer lots or in the wild

buy the absolute base model with 19" wheels. That makes the ride better than these twenty inchers

I find that a lot of new cars have some very good points but most of them have some very poor things, I just wonder why the can’t make cars a lot better.

The more I look at electric cars the more petrol/diesel/ hybrid cars look like dinosaurs. If only the charging infrastructure was better.

Underneath it’s a VW Tiguan, save yourself some money if you must have a German 4x4 and look at the Seat, VW and Skoda offering the same thing for less. Audi’S are over priced, rebadged Skoda’s. Wake up people. Years ago I looked at a Audi A3 but ended up getting a better spec VW Golf GT Sport for less cash, then found a even cheaper Seat.. so I could have saved even more..

Audi's rides are always a let down and jittery. Rubbish, average cars for premium price (just like all the Merc models in recent years, Ford quality Bentley price). As for BMWs, they are just obsessed with cheap plastic in the engine bay.
