FYI get the placement washers for the screws and replace them. They are cheap and a must to keep water out of the Lower Unit. Smooth sailing dude.

I got it from bass pro shop but Walmart has it as well

Lovin mine. Got the 50hp. Seems like it is using a bit more gas than usual. Imma try trimmin a bit to see if the drag gets a bit lighter.

I trim mine and don’t throttle it all the way down keep the rpm right around 5 seems to help me a little but that 50hp on that big body benz will do it lol

Looks easy. I have a 2022 on order. Hope it gets here before armagedon. Is that a kit for changing the oil? You probably save hundreds of $$ for 5 minutes work !! Peace

Yes it is bass pro shop has the oil changing kit and lower unit oil but they can be boat at some Walmarts let me know if you need the numbers

Saw oil change kits on the Mercury web site. I'll shop around though. Have you greased the motor yet? Supposed to be 3 or 4 zerks somewhere on the motor.... saw on KZfaq where a boat mechanic pointed them out on a different HP Merc. motor. Speaking of grease, does the trailer come with bearing buddys on the trailer wheel hubs? If not, I'm going to have the dealer install them when imy boat comes in. Thanks and good luck !

@@redveiner no they come with a oem that the trailer has and I greased my engine as well. I like to keep my baby looking good!

My bro!! I messed up my prop and tryin to replace it. I see u have the 12x22 1.83:1 prop like mine. However now all the review saying that its the wrong prop for that boat. Any thoughts? I dont wanna loose my warranty by replacing with a wrong prop. TY

How is this on gas with the 6gallon tank it comes with? Trying to figure out if I need to upgrade that right away. Just got it yesterday but it’s too cold in Wisconsin to get it out yet

I can get about 3 fishing trips with my 6 gallon but I don’t full throttle nor do I use my outboard a lot. I wear my trolling motor out lol

@@lifewiththedonersons that’s my plan. But there are some instances with chains here where I’ll use a lot of outboard. As well as the family wanting to cruise around. Just trying to get a feeler on it.
