This is by far my #1 choice for a luxury sedan. I mean the S-Class is really nice, as is the Ghost, but no this is it.

Rolls are too pricey for what you get. Get one of these and a 992 Turbo S for the price of a Phantom.

RR is a piece of sh*t hyperpriced. Bentley is genuine. Perfectly priced.

In fact Bentley Engineers weren't too happy about that platform, too sporty for them, and so from 2021 Audi will be the one running Bentley instead of Porsche as they think both brands better match their customer expectatives in how the car drives ands feels in a more relaxed way! 😅

RR = 10 luxury, 6 athleticism. Bentley = 9 luxury, 9 athleticism. Porsche = 7 luxury, 10 athleticism. Anyway, its not that an 8 cylinder can't be as powerful as a 12, rather, its that the 12 cylinder doesn't have to work as hard.

I love Bentleys. They deliver, despite the upper class blabla. Rolls is for very tasteless new money in my honest opinion. And I still want the planes in the hangar ;-)

You’re incredible. You are driving a $200,000+ car at high speeds going down a winding road ..... and you spoke so well and calmly. Un phased. I mean that in a good way. I don’t think most people could talk so well in that situation. I’d be too focused on the road and too nervous. Bravo to you.

Loved the Bentley crest in the carbon side skirt. Beautiful!!! Always love the show. I love that you always give the weights and measures in kilos and pounds. Although I am an American I developed my love for cars through watching British Top Gear and they always used kilos so for understanding the weight of a car, pounds make no sense to me, but kilos I understand. I look forward to your shows every week. Clear relevant information that car enthusiasts want to know. Keeping killing it with the content. You said you worked at BMW in a previous episode what was your role??

Did an internship with BMW in Munich while I was in University. Literally worked in the factory building cars. Was a great gig for a poor kid from NYC to go to Europe for the first time in my life, get paid for it and earn credit towards my degree. Would HIGHLY suggest that plan to anyone.

@@MotoManTV Thanks for getting back to me I really appreciate that. I currently work at a supplier for the automotive industry. We supply machines that cut and grind gears for differentials, transmissions, and steering columns. I am currently getting my masters and am hoping to work for a manufacturer at some point in the near future.

Kumo and I disagree about the 4 place seating package. I say yes. He says now. He prefers to lay across a bench seat.

Thanks for great infotainment and please do something about your camera,when it’s dark the quality lowers significantly! it’s worth the channel to invest in a good camera man! HDR 60FPS could be a cherry on top!

Interesting rare new car - Bentley ahem VW - great review - Saturday morning fresh coffee, what's not to like. The Extras game is like speccing a house, Mullener bathroom 18k Extra? check! Total 200.000 Dollar? mmmm don't know I would take it with this price. Does VW have a 48V system on the shelf? My wish would be to have a PHEV drive train option showing the future of this brand, hybrid / mild hybrid. Bentleys were always heavy and had huge engines.

So Motorman, what is your Bentley colour combination; exterior & interior? An avid Flying Spur fan, I've been waiting to see the V8, sadly knowing I can't afford it! It seems that Bentley could fit the Panamera hybrid system perhaps....

Very tough call . . . Kumo and I have been arguing about since the car arrived. I want a darker blue Metallic and he wants a white - shocker, I know. Interior would be the tougher call because I would want to make the most of what makes Bentley, Bentley. Customization.

@@MotoManTV well thats a cop out there mate!! But i do agree about being over black white an d grey cars with a black interior. problem is most buy with only the safest resale option. But then the market is flooded with B, W G cars with black interiors, so your car doesn't stand out. With a lot of Porsches, especially the Cayenne, Panamera disastrously under specced as well. Interesting coloured cars sell fast 2nd hand

2021 Silver spur in white ice, is alright. Moon roof delete & I'd go with black leather. Grill and wings -Very similar style wise to my 2008 lacrosse by GM Buick

But George when you play the options game with Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maybach ect, punters couldn’t care less on costs. They just want the car in the way they want it with all the trimmings and brilliant clear coats. If you mention you can save $ lol, lol on Matt paint, Kumo and the punters will belt you with a stick. Just saying 😀

MM, another super interesting video. Thanx. HOWEVER --- you forgot to mention the black plastic grill, and whether the V8 can be optioned with carbon ceramic brakes. It appears those in the video are standard issue. If I could afford a Bentley (c'mon lottery), I would order the W12. Why? Because 12 cylinders are not in the Panamera...end what the Hell...spend another $40k and go über first class. [Edited for spelling and grammar.]

I know this is a terrible reason to want the W12, but the fact that you really can't get them anymore may be enough to push me in that direction . . . But then again, my heart aches for a Mulsanne.

another big sedan that can really only carry 4. No wonder the SUV is sold as sometimes one needs to carry 5. The best Flying spur rear seat was the series 1, at least someone could sit there for a short trip, certainly not a road trip...so you end up having to buy a suv, of which many are nearly just as bad. Im sure Bentley could option a three person rear bench for another 40grand or so. Phantom did it right, but maybe that was so you could entertain your partner in the back....if you get the drift!!!

I'm no aircraft pilot but I know what pitch, roll and yaw are. At first listen, "pitch" seemed redundant to "plow" and "squat." Upon review, however, your mention of plow suggests something front wheels might do in terms of change in camber or alignment in relation to each other. Is that a good guess? Same with squatting. In which case they are different from pitch (a forward to back bucking motion). More enlightenment, please, thanks.

@@brandonminiman I love it (we have a 2017 S63 convertible), but I miss the S65. I bitterly regretted having sold it, one of the biggest mistakes of my life. To me, AMG forever (G63, GLS63, S63 and...GLE53, a great baby buggy).

13:33 how do you have “no idea what” mood lighting is? Porsche calls it “ambient lighting” and Ford has been putting it in Mustangs since 2006. Mercedes and Audi have had it since the 90’s. Pretty much every car manufacturer has it. C’mon, man!

The car is not Audi it is British with Engineered components from the VW corp and other Corporations.

@@Art-is-craft I think with a little more research you will find it is extremely German engineered which is why it’s so good. The only English thing about it is the aesthetics and trim unfortunately. The other corps you reference are VAG the parent company with some electrical or brakes from Brembo thrown in.

What is the difference between a Rolls Royce or Bentley buyer? For one money is no object, for the other .. "what is money?" For Bentleys the engine / motor is the key brand defining issue, for a Rolls - it doesn't matter it only need to push without end and should never be heard. Rolls is perfect for a hyper luxury EV in the future.
