Sorry. Lets just clear this right off the bat. Michael Jordan is NOT the greatest athlete of all time. Hell, he won’t even crack the Top 20 of all time. So just park that statement, and in fact, make a retraction He doesn’t hold a candle to some of the best sportsman of all time.. Eliud Kipchoge - by many heads and shoulders the best athlete/ sportsman to walk the earth. Then we can get into the likes of Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Rapahel Nadal, Usain Bolt, Carl Lewis, Serena Williams, Jack Nicklaus, Steffi Graf, Pele, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton None of these NBA, NHL, MLB people crack any list.

For anyone that grew up in the 90's this house is like a time capsule. The NEC televisions, the landline phones, the cabinetry, the curved walls. The whole house screams 90's luxury. Which is so vastly different to what people consider luxury today.

Not to discredit Enes, his work is amazing, but the house has been on the market for a decade, and they’ve cut the price in half since originally listing it. They can’t sell it.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I had no idea as a kid in the 80's and 90's that I was witnessing the greatest player of all time. I just understood that he was really good. Nobody knew back then that he would still hold records decades later.

This has to be one of the most impressive estate I've ever seen on any channel. Walking on that hardwood floor were the legendary 23 played, just priceless. Enes, I have to thank you so much for an amazing video and in-depth tutorial. The estate is like a Ritz-Carlton resort.

Insane. I grew up in France and I’ve been a fan since 1996. At this time, from Europe, it was really difficult watching games, reading NBA news etc. So it’s pretty awesome to see where Michael and his family used to live at this time ! It’s like a time capsule. And it also breaks my heart seeing it all empty. Especially the trophy room. I wish the next owner of this mansion would keep it like this, the basketball court is part of basketball history 😍

His house is incredible. Imagine being a kid growing up there. Mind blowing indeed. Museum is the only logical thing I can think of and renting out the guesthouse. It’s beautiful.

Totally what I was thinking. Guest house would be the museum gift shop, sell some vintage Bulls merchandise, jerseys, etc. Jordan could probably get a sizable tax write-off from the little vanity project.

Obviously nobody wants to live there or spend that kind of $$$ no matter how Iconic MJ is...plus you could create revenue stream by charging for tours and admission. Rent out the court for hourly price etc. If these ideas are used then I am eligible for $$$ negotiations from MJ's management team. Open to discuss further as I have some of the best ideas that have ever been birthed into the human imagination. I just do not have the resources to pull it off, but my idea's are top tier. The untouched lower level was so cool to see, literally like going back in time to see a state of the art, highest end entertainment longue money could be in the year 1995. I love the carpet design, Jordan logo on the ceiling and the LED lights. so cool

I worked there as a security guard for a security firm during the lasts few weeks of phases of the finishing of the estate. It was non the less, even more beautiful walking through it. I was at awe standing on the the original CB hard wood floor.

Never seen anything like it! The recorded sound! I have never heard such clarity. The camera work ..aiming at the various rooms..and the editing, the cuts!! How do they do those cuts? Have never seen such camera work! The quality of the film is better than any. The B rolls, and the footage at the beginning. How on earth did Enes think to do that? I have never seen a video with cuts in the middle…of the subject. For me, even seeing the house back in the 90's it looks like a museum or mausoleum more than a house. I do love the front gates with the 23 & all the land surrounding it.

It's "only" a $12Million home. Enes has been in properties worth nearly a $BILLION! But have you ever seen a lawn in such POOR condition in a home with an asking price of $12Mil? That lawn looks like Carl from Caddyshack had at it (and Bushwick was modeled after a golf course from the North SHore near Jordan's home).

Yes, Michael Jordan's mansion not even the start of the tour, and I'm in love with his personal gate. In the Dining room and the kitchen, the light above the table is beautiful and the table is unique. That is a dream in a future kitchen of mine either to have a bar or an island in the middle of the kitchen. A trophy room wow I would feel so humble and accomplished every time I walked into that room. Oh shit, I didn't even realize the pool was a basketball that is so cool, having an island in the middle of the pool would never have thought of that before. Basketball courts omg I love the glossiness in the floor and a full court holy moly

I love how they show the price, no nonsense or gimmicks. I see properties listed for a small fraction of this one on FB and social media, and to fin out the price you have to message them and do an entire rain dance, and once you contact them, you can never get them to leave you alone. Wow I looked at this property when it was first listed but you made it look so much better than just photos. You gave it story and made it feel really special and unique, because it is. Agree, Im a fan indeed but too customized and a new owner cant sell any furnishings to make it their own! Too 'nany refundant rooms, how to repurpose if cant get rid of any furnishings? This place not a home but a shrine especially e.g. MJ logo everyhere, design details for him alone& as stated on the sale none of the furniture can ever be sold! The idea for Chicago organizaton by it use it first as training, club events, etc best idea 1% or less would be interested buying this at any price! Again if it ca'nt be altered? removed? better have storage some where!

The home is really amazing you can actually tell a lot of the stuff was from the '90s based off the color and that architecture and then you can see the little subtle hints of new renovation was crazy how a home can tell you so much about the times I love it ❤️

It's unfortunate the buyer can't get rid of the 90's furniture by selling it. I personally would donate those outdated furnitures as well as those 90's NEC rectangular TV's. The floor on the kitchen needs updating too.

You can tell from the design that Michael got his design ideas from being on the road. The house looks like a luxury airport terminal, and the bedrooms look like luxury hotel rooms. There's no warmth in the house. It's aestheticly beautiful, but cold.

That was an excellent observation. I was wondering why I wasn't attracted to the place even though it was luxurious. I loved your line "It's aesthetically beautiful, but cold." It reeked of excess too. I mean, how many sitting areas and full-size pool tables and bars does one need? This is my least favorite tour, but I'm happy for the guys who did the tour since it gave them joy to be in Michael Jordan's home. I enjoyed their joy, just not the home for the reasons you stated.

Of course, not many people need them, only the rich, important and famous who wants one and has the kind of lifestlye. And to have this lifestyle you know a lot of people too, not just your family. For them it is just enough.

What's really impressive and impossible not to notice is the attention and work that were invested into the finest details in every bedroom, bathroom, wine cellar, common area, entertainment room, front entrance, kitchen, guest house, etc, etc, etc. Absolutely stunning interior design and construction.

Not bad for a kid from Wilmington, NC. I remember watching his documentary films from the early 90’s and his home before this one. Where his neighbors kids ran up to him and he threw a football in his backyard. Amazing he had this built from scratch and I bet it cost about 2.5m total. Finally, to think he owns this and never uses it anymore is insane. The maintenance on it alone has to be 100k a month easy.

Watching this tour broke my heart thinking about Michael. This was a home when the whole family lived here. Now it is a showcase. As beautiful and amazing as it is I couldn’t live in such a large house like this. It surely will be sold. If they are a large family they will surely enjoy it. My prayers go out to his wife and the kids. Thank you for this wonderful tour. Honestly the best tour I have seen so far. I applaud you for knowing everything little detail of this house. One day, my wife and I went out looking for a place to live…. We found this beautiful gated community house in Northern California…. The place was gigantic, 2 floors, tons of bathrooms, rooms, one could barely hear anyone else throughout the house… Soooo, we came to a conclusion that the place was too big for a family of four and 2 dogs, with family barely visiting since they live abroad…. It was beautiful!!! Yet, it was dead! No warmth, no closeness…. Sooo, we decided for a smaller place, a place where we could find each other in less than 2 minutes, right on the water, cozy, warmth, we still had a nice back yard, a dock to go out with the kayaks, bbq area…. We were super happy! We were super close to each other…. Great decision…. Sometimes the smaller, the better! Still, Mr. Jordan’s is a beautiful place! Hope he was able to really enjoy it! 🤞🤞🤞🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Great display of such a historic home. I use to drive up from Evanston around Sheridan Dr. and take friends to get a picture at the "23" gate when they came to visit. It was great when the team practiced at the Berto Center back in the day also. I worked for Jim Beam and our office building was just up the street so we could see the players parking in the rear when they came to practice. I've always said, If I could ever afford this home, I would use it as corporate space for fortune 500 companies to have retreat week, team building and corporate events. The staff have done a remarkable job up keeping a home that hasn't had residents for such a long time. I heard that the new owner also gets Nike and Jordan gear for life...

I just feel sorry for whoever buys that house next,,, trying to refurnish all 56,000 square feet, remove all the MICHAEL JORDAN stuff, and just make the house look the way he or she wants it to. I'm surprised Michael's buddy OPRAH didn't buy that house. Maybe she toured it but didn't want it.

A table that replicates the street system of BAGHDAD? WHY would any red blooded American want THAT in their home? What a fascinating tour. This house is a perfect time capsule. It's exactly how I would have imagined the most famous American athlete in the 90s living. It actually makes me nostalgic for those times. This is a tough sell today because it was built for such a specific person at such a specific time. Any buyer would be living in a monument to someone else unless they spent tens of millions on a thorough redesign.

Resale is the pitfall of a custom designed house. Add the fact that you can’t resell the furniture makes it even harder to make your own.

@@marvino3829 Agreed with everything that you said (and those above). I was a HUGE Jordan fan back in the day. Other than the Gaggenau upgrades in the kitchen and a few minor pieces, this house is very dated. I can't even get all the way through the tour. I think that Jordan's been living in Florida for over a decade now. The house is a time capsule and you'd have to put so much more into it to bring it up to contemporary style standards. And since you're not allowed to sell the furniture your only option is to give it away, or more likely throw it all away? Enes mentioned that it was upgraded in 2008... so the last upgrades were 15 years ago? There've probably been a few interior design cycles even in that length of time. I've been a longtime viewer and I'm proud of Enes & co. for being the ones asked to come in and sell this place. But with how dated this house is I just can't in good faith continue watching.

He built this in the 90s which even makes it more impressive. It doesn’t look dated like most houses going back 30years would look. No doubt he’s done renovations of the years but this house is ahead of its time and the architecture doesn’t look out of place.
