Yellow lines are not for the rear wheels, they are for the innermost and outermost points of the body. When you make a turn those lines show you if you are about to hit something

Luis Zamora lexus lx is struggling. Same old car with new headlights. And qx80 ? 76000 is a decent price considering other full size SUVs. Japanese SUVs are popular in middle east. But many people still buy Chevys, Fords, Cadillacs, Lincolns, GMCs, Dodges even in Middle East. I am from a country where a Camry Hybrid costs 60000 dollars

@Orion yea, it's everywhere on KZfaq and quite annoying but here I find myself as the one writing it. But my point is most manufacturers are pumping out overpriced suvs which is just disappointing. We are talking vehicles that are a 4th of value of the average home which is crazy.

It has the G80 auto locking rear diff like all GM trucks use. With the exception of the manually selectable rear (and front) locking one in the ZR2

@@DJR5280 just cause it has IRS doesnt mean it doesnt have the same parts inside from the previous axle. you can get an ford 9 inch in IRS and solid axle and everything except the axle shafts and outer bearings are going to be the same.

I agree, I don't get why automakers are so adamant on replacing column mounted gear levers, which are out of the way, easy to use with any type of gloves, and can be operated solely by feel. If they think it makes the car look old fashioned, then redesign them.

What’s nice with the 3/4 liftgate option is it’s programmable to more than just 3/4 height. Just manually move the liftgate to the desired height and hold the close button until it beeps. Now it will remember to only open to that set height.

I have an 06 tahoe Z71 with 215,000 miles on it and paid $44,000. It’s been great for us but no way would I pay 76k for another one. Gonna jump to the Ford Bronco.

Column mounted selectors must look to out dated for GM, Oh and Ram and most of F-150's. Yet they're easy to use without looking even with gloves, they rarely break, and are still out of the way. I doubt the button/pull whatever's, with go over well in the Police versions.

Fun fact: in the collision industry you wouldn’t be able to use an aftermarket tail lamp in a new tahoe. The insurance would owe to replace the lamp with an OEM. Aftermarket companies cant use trademarked symbols or words on their parts. So in order to restore a vehicle to pre-loss condition you would have to replace a tail lamp in this case with a OEM part. Im pretty sure that’s one of the reasons they do it.

People don't realize, red is actually the strongest paint. Something about chemical composition that makes up the color makes it about 3% stronger, thus supporting the metal it's painted on. It may not seem like a lot, but when in recovery, everything counts.

The middle of the road Tahoe was 32k in 1999, 50k in todays dollars. Tahoes have never been cheap. Want a cheap car? Buy an econobox, plenty of options in the econobox space.

I think this is the perfect car for a family with 2+ kids, a dad that is a office worker during the week but lite trail blazer on weekends, and a mom that keeps a lot of stuff in the car.

JBL BASS TESTER XD the old LTZ Z71 Tahoe has air conditioned seats and air conditioning.. Air Conditioning is pretty much standard on every new vehicle sold in the US.

Overhead valve, cam in block, push rod engines are old school, but so are single and double overhead cam engines, they've been around for more than 110 years! What makes any of these engines modern is the electronics! And all of them have modern high-tech electronics!

The entire time I was watching this I felt like the entire interior was lacking any quality besides the areas they just bombed leather onto. ALL the buttons looks cheap and frail... The Ford Expedition looks better and has a more high quality and durable interior. Its 3 years old and I'd still take it over the Chevy any day. Even if the only engine available is an Eco(or)boost.

3/4 is so you can program the height. It does not mean the lift gate will go up 3/4 of the way up. Also they are recovery hooks, not tow hooks...

Incredibly so. Not sure why manufacturers seem to think they need to reinvent shifters and make them less intuitive. I can see rental agencies having to place stickers to instruct people how to use it. Dumb.

I live in Gainesville, Florida and work as a lot guy/porter across the street from our local Chevy dealer which is pretty big and well known. As soon as the new 2021's were released and the first one got there (the beginning of this week), Ryan Lochte traded his 2013 land rover discovery autobiography edition in on one of these bad boys lol had the pleasure of driving his Land Rover to run a few errands since we bought it somehow 😂 felt like a swimmer in it. Now I'm gonna have to look forward to driving a new Hoe
