Thanks to this vid and several other ones reviewing the latest 1260s, I've ordered the 2022 black and steel version and eagerly await its arrival in mid-April! I was previously a Ducati Superbike owner (2006 999), but found the riding position too hard on my aging body. I test-rode an older model Diavel before ordering, and fell in love with it!

Hey Mike, thank you for watching, I was super impressed of the 1260s, it has definitely sportbike DNA with comfortable riding position - but in the end I opted for Rocket 3, which is less sport aggressive and more riding around in one living room so to speak to match my ageing body too LOL

It is not a heavy bike for a cruiser at all and its chasis and rear tire make the driving seemless. Average weight on cruisers is anywhere between 400 - 700lbs. This one weighs 538 wet which is very acceptable as one is aware that he is buying a cruiser and not sports bike. Also you have to go for that termignoni exhaust. It is a whole different animal with that on.

Put it in Urban mode and it's really smooth, due to the torque being low down, you need to quick-shift slightly differently than other bikes, then shifts become smooth. Spec the bike with the Termi exhaust and it becomes a totally different bike, sounding like a NASCAR. Oh, if you ride the Monster 950 after riding the Diavel, it feels tiny, like a toy bike.

@@TheEarlster Don't get me wrong, the Monster 950 is an excellent bike, I'm just stating that it feels really small after riding the Diavel.

@@TheEarlster i can imagine the torque on this monster, im Still running in the H2 not had the time tbh, got another 200 miles till its run in and then its fun time lol
