The 2021 Ford Bronco Black Diamond is here!!! The Ford Bronco Black Diamond is kind of like a middle of the road package, similar to like a XLT on an a F-150.
So it’s not the most expensive, but it’s not the cheapest.
Really it has a lot of the stuff you need, and not a lot of the stuff you don’t.
So far I love this Bronco. It's a wholly different beast than the Ford Bronco Sport and Jeeps I've had. The features on the Black Diamond that I chose are just the right level for what I need.

I'm coming from a Focus ST, this Bronco will be my first off road vehicle. I went with the Black Diamond trim because it has all the essentials and I kept the price to $40k (still more than enough to make eyes water!).

I'm doing the same. Sad to get rid of my ST, but it's time. How are you liking the Black Diamond? I've tried 2 times to order a manual one. Hopefully next week it will go thru.

Yes, the 2.3 rocks! Add a $500 power pack available by a few aftermarket providers, and add another 40-50 hp. Lovin my 2.3 on my '22 Black Diamond 4dr sasquatch mid package w trailer tow.

Excellent review Matt. I may consider a Bronco as a backup to my 2021 F150 that I use as my travel trailer tow vehicle. The F150 is great for towing and long distances. But not so great for in town or off road given it's length. Glad to see you're happy with the layout of the Bronco.

I too reserved in July of '20, (2.7 SAS BD 2DR A51) , but I won't see it until 2nd qtr of '22....talk about WAITING!!!! Luckily I was held over by going to the Bronco Off-Roadeo event in Horseshoe Bay ( Austin, TX) I HAD A FREAKIN BLAST. I WAS BLOWN AWAY AT HOW CAPABLE AND COMFORTABLE THE BRONCO IS!!!! SO...I can wait 😆 🤣 😅

Very informative! My build date is the week of 01/17/22 and my set up is almost exactly like yours except it’s a 2 door. Black Diamond 2.3L w/auto and the mid package. I’m staying with the steelies. My original color choice was Antimatter Blue, but since I had to do a MY22 rebuild I had to change color and chose Eruption Green. Keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll stick with my build date!

Very nice, congrats! I wouldn't worry about how the windows behave while opening the doors, mustangs have had that feature for years and don't cause any issues long term. Enjoy!

Seems like you could mount the front plate below the sensor. It might get in the way for technical offroad if it was too low, but you could always just take it off on the dirt road and put it somewhere else.

i really like this truck and this is the trim i would get hands down but i just cant give up my 4runner yet. it has the V8 in it and its a vehicle that is not made anymore. once these come out used ill probably take another look.

Check this iv had my blk diamond now going on month. My license plate I RELOCATED it to driver side of bumper just underneath headlight , I purchased shelving L brackets from home Depot and bam done license plate relocated, yes it will cover fog light area but I have other plans for them hope you get this reply... P.s. I did not want to drill holes in new bronco lol

Loved your review but many reviews mention noise level. This is not a BMW or Cadillac, we know about less then silent road noise. Could you imagine a Harley Davidson review mentioning its a great bike but its a bit loud. 😉

I can’t believe you ordered the upgraded tires and wheel pkg! I know damn well that you’re going upgrade the tires to 34” or 35” with the latest cool wheels and you’ll probably rock at least a 2” lift! Afterall, you represent Campus Automotive…
