Bubbles all came out over time too. Even after a ton of car washes they are still looking good.

You're actually supposed to work out all the bubbles with a small squeegee or you can use a credit card before you remove the protective cover. Otherwise it looks good.

Thanks for the video, brother, I put my Boca decal on my Roush F150 tailgate today and your video really helped out a lot. I have a few tiny air bubbles, but I’m hoping they’ll dissipate over the next day or two.

Thanks for sharing. However, you need to get rid the bubbles first using your hands or credit card before peeling it off. I did cover mine with white and black lettering without bubbles.

The bubbles remaining went away all on their own, so it worked out well.

Do you regret not getting the tailgate step? I did not get one on my order and just curious if you thought it was worth it to have it.

Hi David, I don't regret not getting the built-in tailgate step at all. I have used them before and they always seemed like a hassle. However, I do really miss my Chevy steps built into the bumpers. I think I am going to add the AMP Research bed step at some point instead. www.amp-research.com/bedstep-bumper-step/2021/ford/f-150

Thanks Joe! Currently I am using my Google Pixel 3XL, mostly because it automatically backs up to the cloud which means I don't have to monkey with SD cards.

@@notallwhowanderarelost2024 I forget exactly where I saw this but someone had applied an aluminum heat sink to the back of their pixel 3XL and it seemed to do the trick and kept the phone cool while videoing out in the bright hot sun

I dry installed mine.. they didn’t come with any instructions.. it may have been easier wet tho 🤔 .. luckily I didn’t get any bubbles

I think doing it wet just helps be able to readjust and move it.

@@notallwhowanderarelost2024 I have to peel mine off soon cuz I’m going to paint the chrome parts gray then do the black overlay on top. I think I’ll try wet approach this time.

@@sgjesse13hey have you done that before? I was thinking of hyper dipping it gloss black, then getting this same sticker in matt black so I don't have to see any chrome. Would that work?
