The 7.3 has more payload vs the diesel. I bought the same truck but an F350 Tremor 7.3. LOVE the white and black. I got the Star White. Good luck with it.

Bad ass truck dude! Gonna be doing the same but with a 2021 Silverado 2500 z71 sport.

I'm about to make a similar decision. It's a compromise. You can't get the Tremor package with the camper package, for example. You're giving up payload and stability for offroad prowess, which in this case means 35" tires instead of 33" tires, a front LSD, and some better offroad tuned shocks. I'm going to go with an F350 for the added weight carrying and an FX4 offroad package, which still allows for a rear locker, AT tires, and things like hill descent control. You can get the FX4 with the camper package, so I think that's the sweet spot. The Tremor package is certainly more camper friendly than something like a Power Wagon, but I think it's a tad too far to the offroad side of things.

I’m thinking the same as you. My Tremor was ordered on 01/05. I believe it’s on a train now.2/28. Yippie!!! 4 wheel camper also in the works. The biggest problem I found is my insurance quote yesterday, WOW!! $2359 a year is outrageous. BTW, I have a perfect driving record no tickets and no claims. Is your insurance outrageous?

Your going to be tight on payload with that truck, why not 350? Approx payload 2600 - 1500- family of 5- gear- hitch weight. Should be cool though.

@ 0.17 - DEF gauge instead of a Boost gauge??? These trucks should come with several other gauges -------> front and rear differential temperature, oil temperature, ATF temperature, fuel pressure, pyrometer (with diesel engine), etc. Quality Auto Meter or ISS Pro gauges offered as an option would be good.

Not lifted, Ford lowered the super duty in 2020 and the tremor is the same height as 17-19 trucks. Get with the boys at CJC for some Carli goodies.

You picked the wrong setup if you wanted lots of payload. F250 diesels have low payload. Should have gone F350 diesel or F250 gas. You are going to be at you max payload will just the camper without towing anything. Bet that thing has 2,000 lb or less payload. Check the sticker in the door jam. I hope I’m wrong. Sorry... I bought my F250 in gas because the payload of diesel wasn’t enough for my 5th wheel, but the gas had plenty of payload.
