Hey great video! One small thing I wanted to mention. I do believe the rear turn signal indicators are LED. I’ve seen a few videos of the flashing and the light seems instant rather than a halogen fade in and out

Yes, I am so sorry. The red housing messed me up. Looking at it now it is led. It was very hard to tell with the red covers. Thank you so much!! :)

You're right the screen does look amazing. Damn I wish ambient lighting was available in this trim also. Too bad.

The top trim have ambient lightning but the lightning isnt bright at all. it need to be more bright

@@blobers8566 it dimms once you put it in drive, but you can turn that off so the brightness stays

Damn I think you missed showing if the glove box was lit. For future reference. Great vid. I like that even though the 2nd row seats are led, that they went with more amber type light than blue. Blue just looks cold and isn't nice on the eys anyway. Strange enough the front row dome lights seemed blueish.

Thanks. Do you know why the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy doesn’t have standard 20” wheels on both calligraphy models? One comes with FWD 20inch wheels while the AWD comes with 19inch wheels??🤔 Both trims also offer two different wheels which aren’t interchangeable. Prefer the 19” wheels look but with 20” tires/wheel size.

Great looking SUV. I don't even mind the split lighting on the front, they made it attractive on this SUV. However, for the life of me, I really don't understand why automakers are putting turn-signals in the rear bumper!!! This SUV, the Kia Telluride and the Toyota Venza also have it, just to name a few. Just a dumb idea/design that needs to go away STAT!

Surprised there was no Ambien Lighting on the floors or cubby holes under the dash or the passenger cubby above the glove box. That would have given it a nice touch. I'm torn between the Suburu Outback and this model.

I am told there is ambient interior lighting on the Santa Fe Calligraphy model. The model in this review is the Limited.

I was torn as well but I went Santa Fe. But I miss the adaptive headlights as well as fog lights of the outback. But the Santa Fe is so quiet and smooth.

Those front turn look amazing when they use the top of the drl. I have a 2023 and very disappointed that it only has a regular turn bulb by the grill and headlights. Not nearly as noticeable or nice looking.

Moving turn signals lower on the bumper makes no safety sense....

I agree. Turn signal lights in the bumper are stupid since the following drivers focus should be mostly upwards from the pavement. Also, the bumper location makes them much more prone to damage due to drivers who like to bump and go when parking, creeping, etc, and have no depth perception. There is no reason the turn signals could not be integrated into the the main rear lights. That's why they are called BUMPERS!!

@@Iegend17 accent lights is another one. It’s really all in your verbiage and how you structure your video. If I were writing the video, I would preface the video by explaining what you plan on doing, in this case showing the backlit lighting. So when you go through the meat is the video, you don’t need to say illuminated, backlit, etc. so many times since your audience already knows that’s what you are doing from your introduction. Good luck!

Great walkthrough! My wife and I bought the 2022 Santa Fe calligraphy and we're hoping that the lights up top of the consoles were backlit. Does anyone know if they made those changes in 2022 and how to turn them on? I just figured out that we could change the ambient light colors and we have had the car for about 4 months now lol. Thanks in advance!

Hyundai Santa Fe seem almost to be perfect but except the front end lights are all over the place looking so confusing. I do like everything else with this car. The Cx5 exterior look much better than this Santa Fe!
