Bad move on the Hankook tires for this ride. I really want this ride too. And the signal reflector should be high within the main body of the taillight. Good review.

@@IAmTheKiaKing I’ve had the Azera which came with Hankook low profile tires. I am in Chicago. They didn’t stand against the time of road way challenges and issues. I was very grateful of the tire / rim protection warranty I purchased. It was a big challenge to honor. I soon learned that the Hankook tire is a more affordable but less resilient to certain city environments.

I own a 2018 Sorento. I have been looking at both the Sorento and Santa Fe. Since I am an old man I like the Santa Fe much better. It seems the Sorento wants to compete with Jeep. Hang in there and don't listen to the haters. I like your relaxed manner of presentation. Much luck to you.

I appreciate your kind words. I agree. The Sorento is still a comfortable ride and offers loads of luxurious amenities, but if you’re after just a comfortable SUV, the Santa Fe we get you more features.

I just picked up my Calligraphy model three weeks ago. The seats are very comfortable. My car has 20 inch wheels which provides a very smooth ride.

I just bought a 2020 Santa Fe and I must say that I should have waited for the 2021 Calligraphy version. Hyundai and Kia have definitely stepped up their game from years ago.

Where are the bigger wheels? These are the 19s, there are 20s available for the fully loaded Calligraphy which look so much better imo.

@@bneumeisterify the looks are about it. If the ride quality differentiation is like other Kia/Hyundai groups, the road noise will be just as quiet. Marginally higher ride height also.

We saw the "Coquina Beige" interior - and it honestly looks "orange on black" to us. But everything happens for a reason: we ended up choosing a Palisade with the light beige interior.

I personally like the adventurous aspect of the Sorento, so it has my choice. If I wanted a luxuriously minded SUV, I’d go for this.

All day Santa Fe....in person the new sorento looks like a Dodge Journey with lipstick. Seriously shape and siloette, it's a 2007 dodge journey.

The front grill and interior speaker covers are using what is called Parametric Design language to get the effect. Also the 19"' rims are a substitute until the true 20"Calligraphy rims show up in march some time. (supply chain issue) that's why they look out of place.

@ 13:55, you mention, Like many other reviewers, the ONE pocket on the back of the Passenger Seat, and you don't know "why they do that"... I'll tell you why. It's called a "MAP POCKET". It is there for the DRIVER to be able to reach around the back of the Passenger seat and get a MAP out ! Yes, it's something that young ins don't know about...Paper Maps, But that's what it is, and it's reason. Now, that being said, most people just fill those pockets with Garbage and things for their Kids today, not maps. So it's understandable why folks like yourself, just don't understand the "one Pocket thing". That's okay... But now you know !

good review, we have been waiting for the 21's to come out and been viewing all the reviews. you are the only one who showed the flip up mirror button. one suggestion, is watch the sun flares, kind of annoying. also maybe spend more time on in-depth review and introductions to the features inside the vehicle instead of driving around commentary. one question, if its AWD why is there a differential locking button?

One should ask the engineer what they were thinking with the wheel design. I heard they are coming with a 20 inch wheel. Hurry up.Maybe the size of this tire will distract one from this pattern. Wishing you the best with your You-Tube adventure.I have listened and looked at many car reviewers.You have a good voice for listening without too much emotional hype.Making a poor decision of buying a new car is a necessary evil once one has made the purchase so making a mistake is even more costly. I am waiting for the hybrid for better fuel economy but this one is tempting.The mileage spread between the two is about 8 miles/gal in favor of course to the hybrid.

Do the large wheels affect the ride even a little bit? Large wheels and low profile tires look good but tend to stiffen the ride in most cases.

Notice how the driver has to pick up their cups and lift them over electronics (an open USB or a wireless charger)? Not good for summer when cups are dripping with condensation. Wish Hyundai would have reversed the order to make at least one of the cup holders closer to the driver. Great review! Strongly considering this car, but need to test drive it. I'd be coming from a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit.

Can you compare the 2021 Hyundai SantaFe Limited vs. 2021 Acura RDX with Tech Package/ Advanced? Both cars have similar power now but am conflicted between Hyundai's features vs. Acura's Luxury history.

@@IAmTheKiaKing But what do you think about the warranties provided by both the parties? Hyundai certainly would be a headache free vehicle for 10yrs with that Powertrain warranty. Plus 3yrs of free maintenance. Do you think, the Santafe will be a lower cost of ownership for 10yr period compared to RDX?

Very similar actually since their powertrain are similar in nature. The RDX definitely has a sportier essence to it, though.

@@IAmTheKiaKing thanks for the quick response! I've owned BMW, Audi, and Mini turbos and they all required premium. I have a Ford twin turbo pickup, and it does require only regular. I could not find in any of the reviews that it only required regular. I appreciate that detail!

@@mbamitchell well premium brands will tune their cars for premium gas just for added performance. That’s why in this case, the 2.5 turbo uses 87 octane and produces 281 hp. In the Genesis brand, the 2.5 is tuned for premium and produces 300hp.

Very nice looking vehicle BUT those wheels ruin the look - they look like 60's stock jeep wheels. The 20-inch wheels need to be standard on the Calligraphy. Again, this is a nice SUV and I don't normally like SUVs. Great job Hyundai.
