I have the V8 R... it's ridiculous and very luxurious... For me it was the right car. Remove fuse 15 and it goes into godzilla mode... shooting flames out the quad exhaust... no regrets at all.

I think the main issue with these F-Type is that they are way too expensive for what they offer. They're not as fast as the competition and they cost about $15-$20k more. Older tech on the inside, older infotainment, not to mention they are quite heavy for how small they are. I test drove one and honestly I really liked it, but I just didn't think it was as fast. For a starting price of $82k, and you usually cannot find any at this price since they usually have at least $5k options on them at the dealerships, $87k is way too much money for the power that this car puts out. Maybe if it had other driving dynamics to it, such as being light or something, then you can argue that, but it's not. It's just like any other V6 out there and now it's in the price range of turbo V8 cars, which is much, much more impressive in every way.

That is exactly the problem with that car. I like it, and I am going to get one in the next couple of weeks, but a 718 cayman s or BMW M2 c is a better deal.

@@michaelm4890 I’m deciding over Maserati, Porsche 718s, or this f-type but the Maserati seems more classy than sporty but I really like the f type because the ac vent comes up automatically and the spoiler that comes up and down which you don’t see in these other vehicles but still a hard choice

@@phantomjosh2148 well the cayman and ftype have a similar spoiler design. You have to decide, sound v6 ftype is outstanding. Build quality, porsche and i don't mean quality its more every stitch is perfect, everything is on point. The jag is more handmade. There is a small gap ... it has more soul. Reliability, porsche Warranty, jag. Porsche is with all these approved things like tires is stupid. You loos your warranty with the wrong tires. That's funny. Interior, ftype. Its more or looks more luxurious than a porsche. About masserati, what model? At the end, test drive, test drive, test drive. If possible over the weekend. BTW ftype sport mode, open exhaust and automatic in sport. Great sound and the pop's and bangs are awesome and if you know how all the time 😉

@@michaelm4890 the ftypes spoiler comes up automatically just like the Lamborghinis so that’s a plus and if anything I would rather get the V8 Ftype since it’s obvious and the Porsche is kind of old school

@@phantomjosh2148 i know, what i meant is, similar design. Right in the middle, comes elegant up, it is posh, not to aggressive. Plus jag has three different designs for that. Normal or standard, the v8 wing (it also moves) and one that doesn't.
