The interior finally looks up to par with the class, very nice materials. The exterior styling is beautiful, love it. Unfortunately, the 4 cylinder is the biggest letdown here. The only reason I would never buy it and go shopping elsewhere.

Tom Kos.....u took the words right out my mouth.Couldnt agree more.I find that lack in horsepower is the ONE big flaw that turns me away from buying.A car in this class should have at least 300hp.Otherwise,you truly can't compete with the German competition in my book 🤔

I just bought JAGUAR XFL (L long version with 5102 length) in British green & gold edition bezel in China after selling my 7 years old Mercedes C class :) Delivery will be 1st week of May.. 300 bhp 4 cylinder engine will suffice me for day to day driving.. also it’s the last ICE car from jag & wanted to get this beauty before they go all electric in next 2 years… Reason for buying this - Niche classy interior & exterior & powerful 4 cylinder with 300 bhp. Very few on the road & I like to drive something different. E class - looks very delicate & feminine to me now also I drive merc for last 7 years so wanted to drive something different.. BMW5 series - the interiors of new G60 is plastic & with big iPad display like electric cars.. 5 series lost its soul with the new model. Audi A6L - many on the on the streets also the interior is glossy plastic. I take it as a VW with an expensive badge. Cadillac CT6 - too long a car (5300 mm) with 237 bhp. Big curved screen I’m not a fan of.

I think people are missing the point with this car. Yes it’s a 4 cylinder but in todays age for the average user that’s enough, oil prices remember! 300bhp is enough. I’ve driven a 300 sport and I’ve ordered one. It’s just a achingly beautiful place to sit, it’s a proper Jag, last of the old breed! Yes it’s quiet and yes you have to rev it a bit when pushing on but remember it’s a executive car not a sports car. I personally think Jag have nailed it, it makes its rivals look so so dull. Ask yourself, If you owned one, when walking away, would you look back? Personally speaking yes I would. Great vid btw.

It's not so much the leader ship, its just that JLR now have the funds needed to do whatever it they need to do. However, due to the low reliability of JLR vehicles on the whole, I think its about time that tata sells the brand. Personally I think JLR should first split. Making jaguar and land rover two separate brands. I then think that Jaguar should be bought up by Daimler (Mercedes) and land rover either goes independent, or goes to BMW. Whatever happens, I think JLR as a whole should stay away from the VW group.

Better how? Ride quality is not as good as Lexus ES, but the driving dynamics are much better than the Lexus ES and Volvo S90.

Jaguar...come on a four cylinder engine? Why? That is just not the way to go. Go back to eight cylinder please!!! And all electric line up of vehicles.......no so good considering the technology just is not where it should be ten plus years later. Just saying!!
