All NCT performances were absolutely impeccable! Stunning stages, just like these amazing men. For those wondering where Taeyong was, he wasn't feeling the sharpest in the morning, so he decided to get some energy prior to leaving for the awards. Jungwoo had to rush from MCing at Music Core (so he was quite busy). Lucas is on hiatus. And the rest are not part of any group performances, so they didn't need to come. Haechan and Mark had to perform 5 times, and Jungwoo came quickly from MCing, so they certainly were all tired, yet gave such beautiful and energetic performances. Let's continue to root well for the boys as they deserve all the recognition and appreciation, and so that thy can gain more and more opportunities. Edit: and some members performed for 3 stages, which is a lot as well, such as Doyoung, Jungwoo, Jaemin, and Jeno.

Taeyong was feeling unwell at the time so he asked to skip the red carpet appearance. SM did not give any prior notice that he will not be appearing during the live red carpet event, hence, when NCT appeared without TY, everyone was worried and were asking where TY was because no one knew. He was trending on Twitter because of his absence at the red carpet. Even a music critic was asking where TY was and he was actually one of the first people to give an update of whether TY will be appearing at MAMA back then. Later on, TY sent Bubble messages to inform everyone why he was not present at the red carpet event. If you watch the behind-the-scenes of this event in NCT’s KZfaq channel, you will see TY being helped by their manager while walking in the corridor at the background when one of the NCT members was talking, but when TY saw the camera, he tried to walk by himself. It was very clear that he was not well during that time but he still gave it his all for their performances and you don’t even notice that he was sick while performing. TY is such a good leader, artist, performer, and very professional and passionate.
