Nice Joe! It's my first car, only i have the TCe 130 version. It's a very nice car. Fast, lightweight, and a great ride. And beautiful of course!

@@ultimeO lightweight for modern standards. 130HP is enough for a hatchback to be zippy. Gearboxes are definitely short on Renault's.

compared with the outgoing clio iv, there are defineltly a lot of improvements to this model. the main ones being bulid quality and better materials in general. kudos to renault

Im currently driving a Clio iv 0.9TCe and this already looks like quite big improvment both in performance and overall quality. Im definitely thinking of staying in the Clio family and upgrade to the newer Clio one day.

Jeździłem już tą clio 5 na traficarze i przyznam, że jest 100 razy lepsze od 4. To auto przede wszystkim wygląda oraz świetnie się prowadzi. Systemy wspomagający czy pilnujące pasa to rewelacja. Na dłuższą jazdę bardzo wygodne auto. Wygłuszone na tyle, że przy 130 i lekkiej muzyce można porozmawiać.

This is the car i drove to get my driving license in France, i think it's the same model but it was orange.. To be honest, it's a good car, it's doing what a car must do quite well; i kinda felt like the seat were a tad stiff, the gearbox is smooth, you don't hear so much the engine nor any noises from outside, it was a tad hard to park it cause it's quite big but after a few times you get the dimensions of the car.

I'm surprised at the interior being quite nice and well layed out. Still wouldn't get one however unless it was years in the future and they were cheap.

For a 1L engine, I think that 110-120 km/h would be very good for it's size. Going faster migh shorten the life of the engine in my opinion. Except the little engine, the interior and exterior are amazing. I would buy this car only if I drive it around the town from home to work or shopping etc.

I actually drive my 2017 0.9TCe Clio quite a lot, mostly out of city and sometimes pretty long drives... I think its the most reliable turbocharged petrol engine they had in the outgoing model and that it can do better than the 1.2TCe on the long run. The 1.2TCe has been actually facing quite a lot of problems but never heard anything special from the 0.9TCe. 3 cylinder engines are considerably reliable compared to bigger engines. Everyone thinks these engines aren't meant to work under pressure but I think they hold up just fine. Heck, im taking my Clio to a racetrack once in a while and still been able to drive it back home and then to work the next day.

I have the same engine but an intense Clio, in 6th gear at 110 kmph the engine runs around 2500 rpm with 5-5.5 l/100 km, minimal noise.👍

@@djtom1981 i have too clio intens 1.0 90 hp. Its only 3000 km now. But i noticed, fuel consumption too high. 9 l/ 100km.

Im driving the outgoing model with pretty much the same engine and I barely hear that engine on the highway. With 6 gears and better build quality I bet you barely even notice the engine in the new model.

Problem z silnikami TCE jest prosty: nie jest dla każdego. To jest auto na zasadzie jak masz tak dbasz. Trzeba pilnować zmianę oleju do 10 tys km. Oraz auto nie nadaje się na dłużej na trase. Typowe miejskie. Przy ciągłym robieniem tras można niestety taka malizne niechcący przegrzac. Do miasta, krótkie trasy jak złoto. Niestety do tras odradzam. Mam starszy silnik Clio TCE i jednak sam serwis mi o tym mówił.

Ale głośno w nim przy większych prędkościach :( Bardzo słychać samochody przejeżdżające obok, a przecież nawierzchnia jest sucha. Kłania sie brak klejonych szyb i oszczędność na materiałach. No ale w końcu to auto miejskie i "budżetowe" więc czego ja się spodziewałem

How many speeds are there? It seems there are 7 (6 FWD + rear) but I've seen lots of footages where there are only 6 (5 FWD + rear)

SCe engines (NA 72(2020)/65(2021) HP) have a 5-speed while TCe (Turbo 90/100 HP) engines have a 6-speed.

Niestety już za kilka lat nawet taki samochód z tak małym silnikiem spalinowym będzie obiektem westchnień. Ludzie, kupujcie sobie teraz auta z dużymi silnikami. To co z tego że palą 10L+/100. To ostatnie lata żeby cieszyć się jeszcze "starą" motoryzacją.
