Also love my 2018 chisel. I ride it and I don't care if something else is better. For me it is a mature MTB. My phone, computer, camera and fishing rod are also mature. All so good that I don't want to upgrade any of them. But I love my Chisel best.

what mm length of dropper post can fit onthis bike? 30.9 X what mm? I am thinking 125mm but not sure.

Good question! Dropper post length compatibility is going to vary due to rider-specific saddle height requirements and individual post spec. It's best to check with the manufacturer to make this determination.

Yes, both models use the same D'Aluisio Smartweld frame with the difference in the part spec.

29 only up to 2.5

We haven't tested it but the bike was designed as an XC-focused bike so it's advised to run 29" only to ensure that you get proper pedal clearance, etc.

Chisel is a D'Aluisio Smartweld Aluminum frame only. If you want a Carbon XC Hardtail the Epic Hardtail is your machine. - Rob

How much does the complete bike weight please? I can’t decided between a Fuse Comp or Chisel Comp as my first real MTB. I have the luxury of having a mountain range with awesome trails but I’m a 100% beginner to trails Im about 20-30lbs overweight and so my MTB skills and stamina are very mediocre

Both are great bikes. Chisel is a cross country race bike that will put you in a somewhat more aggressive riding posture and excels at twisty, flowy smoother trails. Fuse is a trail bike that has a more relaxed geometry, bigger suspension travel and excels at technical, bumpy and rough trails. Think of the Chisel as a sports car and the Fuse as an SUV. Whatever bike you end up on, just get out and ride and have fun!

Yeah, I know! Most bikes come with those plastic "test ride" pedals. Most riders have their preferred pedals that they will be installing right away anyway so bike companies include basic pedals with the bike. Some bikes even come out of the box with no pedals at all! - Rob
