I got a new car!!! This video is all about my new 2021 Subaru Crosstrek! I've had this car for about 3 weeks now and would recommend it to anyone! I named her Stella and she is a Limited Crosstrek in the color Cool Grey Khaki.

This is a delightful review. I've watched probably about a dozen reviews of the 2021 Crosstrek and yours is the first one that went into any detail at all on the phone app.

Congratulations!! I have a 2019 Orange Limited. They are just about identical with features. You'll enjoy it. Mine has 28K miles and I'm getting ready to trade her in for either another Crosstrek, or this time maybe a Forester Sport. We'll see. Congrats again!! Cheers, Keith

Nice job! I believe you got the HP wrong. The Limited has 182 HP. BTW, I'm waiting for mine to arrive late August from the dealer. I'm getting the same exact model/trim/color!

I have watched several reviews of the Crosstrek. You do a great job of describing the features. You should try and work with other car dealers to let you review cars for them. Great job!

It's so funny how different people can be. I specifically told my dealer not to add the door moldings to my 23 Crosstrek limited, lol. They thought I was wacky, but I had them on the WRX and I hated them. Even though they add some protection, they take away from the smooth lines of the car's design.

I’m going to have same car and same color. I have 2019 but taking that back car max you can return car 30 day. Getting 2021 limit one same you got. I’ll be getting it on August 17 can’t wait to get it

Nice video! Leasing is unwise for whatever situation you are in. All those monthly payments you are making go straight to the dealership. If you were to finance that money is going to the bank, it’s subtracting your balance you owe. While having that safety net of getting your money back if you were to trade in the car or sell it. As well having a sparkly license plate lets other drivers know you are a female, which makes you more of a target of harassment or getting stalked.

You can do anything you want to the vehicle when you're in a lease as long as it helps the vehicle and not hurts the vehicle. I have two leases with Subaru I have a Forester and a Crosstrek limited and I chromed out my Forester so it looks just like a touring edition it's a Forester premium and I tinted the windows . The only thing is when you turn it in and you don't decide to buy it whatever money you put into it you lose that's it anything that helps to look for the vehicle will not hurt the lease just so you know. Great video by the way

I'm thinking about buying a crosstrek too and my mom has the same thing. I really like the red color on that, but it might be too flashy for the road so maybe I'll stick with the same color you got. Maybe it's better than the impreza hatchback.

I went for the dark gray because it was the least flashy color. That way I can minimize my chances of getting caught for speeding since I’m always speeding.

Mpg is 30 for me. Mostly highway. Definitely a bit below my expectation.

Your age is a factor when buy car insurance on your own, but it also depends on how long you've had your DL. Either way Crosstrek is more expensive to insure than a Forester ironically.

I'm not sure that you are correct about the seat material. I know here in Canada the Limited trim comes with real cowhide. No offence to the vegans out there.The "pleather" as you describe it comes in the outdoor trim. I just ordered a 2022 outback in the same colour as your, (LOVE THAT COLOUR), and it comes with a grey and black leather interior. It is the only interior colour offered here in the northern provinces. Just thought you might want to check into yours. You may be surprised to find ou have real leather. Enjoy your new Subaru no matter what you're sitting on!

I have a 2021 Limited and the motor is actually the 2.5 and not the 2.0 so your HP and Torque numbers are wrong. Sport and limited are 2.5.

Would you recommend leasing or financing?

I prefer to lease because I like the idea of getting a new car every three years. I was going to finance, but didn’t want to have to go through doing the research of seeing who has the lowest interest rates and then go back and compare it to the dealers offer. In the end, it comes down to your preference of either wanting a new car every 3 years or keeping the same car for 5-10+ years. The only thing to watch with leasing is that if you switch to a different “brand” of car, you get hit with a bank fee. So I would suggest picking a brand that you know you’ll stay with for a while

they give you different mile packages! I have a 10k mile/year package
