Yup, it's a genuine Toro Engine made to exact Toro specs in (don't gasp) Loncin, China. I know people freak out when they hear Made in China (as I did right away), but this is one solidly built, U.S. quality Engine. I had several different reputable local shops that have sold Toro mowers for decades give me the thumbs up on it ;) Nice ride fella!

Very nice mower you got. I have a JDeere 48in regular lawn tractor. 24hp V-Twin B & Stratton. So maybe because yours says V-Twin it's Stratton also. But the V-Twin is a great well balanced running engine. You have a cool B-Day gift. Enjoy it. Gota love them stimi checks. And you're welcome, as I like being subscribed and helping you out. Big Boy shocks are available as a Toro option. I needed them as I bottomed out quite a bit. Bought mine last year to replace a 30 year old Deines. The My Ride system is fabulous. Enjoy the new toy.
