2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V vs Bajaj Pulsar NS200 vs Honda Hornet 2.0: 200cc Nakeds Compared

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has new colours, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has become a bit more versatile and then there’s Honda thinking to go toe-to-toe with these two with a 184cc motor on the Hornet 2.0. Is that going to be enough? Is the Pulsar still relevant? Are the updates on the Apache a bit too much? Find the answer to all of these questions and more in this video.

Loved the fun, honest, multi faceted review, I agree with most of the comments, the banter being better than the bikes, roasts being hotter than sun and someone even said better than powerdrift. This was a really good, sensible and fun video - start of good "automotive content" as schumi would say!!! You guys have another fan now in me.

@Rambo I use it for daily, mine is bs4, very happy, if u drive it well and keep rpm lower, 40+ is easy. I get better mileage with my 200 than I ever did with my scooty etc.

Yeah I agree. I own a Pulsar and that part digital part analogue feels so good to look at. Digital tachometer just doesn't give that feeling when I rode my friend rtr. But the rtr has lot of features and mine doesn't have any. Even the clock time on the digital screen can't be adjusted 😂. It only gets corrected after servicing.

That was an wholesome package ❤️.. And I agree with you guys... Owning this 2021 rtr now... Well the bike is really good and a complete package again ❤️....but some connection is missing... That surge of power after 6k rpm in plusar... Screaming top end.... Even in my discover 125st which was launched along with first gen ns200.. There is that feel of engine comes into live in higher rpms and which is very engaging to pin the throttle and enjoy fast nd revving soul.. Which my rtr just miss....

Excellent stuff guys, you brought out all the relevant points in this review and that to in a funny way. But I need to tell you about this, I am 5 11 and I was never comfortable riding RTR, it felt as if I was sitting on top of the bike, and those foot pegs were high but not rear set, so that is awkward even when TVS has years of racing experience. Also, you could have included the Yamaha MT 15 here too, just for fun.

RTR truly shines, be it the thick brochure or the performance (never driven it, going by ur reviews) but something that it misses is road presence, and for some odd reason it never felt a ₹1.1L+(when it was initially launched) bike, mostly due to the conventional looking chassis. Hoping that the next gen RTR cud look apart and hopefully the integration of DRLs improve from the current ShinChan eyebrows

loving my new apache rtr 200 4v, with sports mode on.. earlier I used to have Dominar 400, though 200 cc is not powerful as dominar but sufficient enough to punch past 100km/h easily, only thing missing is 6th gear... rest it has all... adjustable slipper clutch, dual channel abs, nice advance meter console, and different riding modes...

@@AwaitingWinter yes brother modes matters in practicality in urban mode and rain mode u can extract better fuel economy of the bike and by owning a single bike u can have the feel of having 2 bike such as in urban and rain mode u feel u are riding 160cc bike and in sports mode 200cc bike so u only think is it required or not

Riding modes are there to curb when there's too much power to control. 200cc bikes do no need that, as the max power hey both provide are harmless and beginner friendly. Take test rides before buying. Do not pick a bike solely off of spec sheet.
