What do you think of the changes made to new Vauxhall Crossland? Do you like that new front grill. In my opinion it all looks great but ditch that bit of silver plastic at the bottom of the bumper!!

Thanks for reviewing the vehicle sold by us as Opel (CZE) I think that many spectators would appreciate an even more detailed look at the interior of the car, its practicality, storage space in front, materials, comfort.

I've just ordered the new diesel 1.5 auto nav elite. Full spec. The rear seats do not slide. But still a good motor for the price.

I have a 2021 plate and the clutch bite is shocking! Is it just my car or are other people having issues? If I was to replace clutch would the biting point be as shocking? Has anyone had thier clutch changed on this car and felt it to be a lot better? Thanks

Currently got a corsa premium sat nav elite which is 2 months old (21 plate) metallic black (only person in Liverpool uk who's actually got the corsa in the metallic black with flecks of glitter in it, NIGHTMARE) and I'm getting rid of it to get one of these. Lovely crossland ultra cars in white which will be a 21 plate.

I completely agree! A new hybrid engine to go with the style would’ve been nice but I don’t think that will put buyers off in this segment

Had 19 Crosland 6k miles Gearbox long reach does not compare with old mokka.no inertia seat belts no electric adj on passenger seat or driver seat as grandland and old mokka Good to hear new steering .Glovebox got fuse board inside so smaller.No 18inch wheels.On the plus side heated screen speed limit display underfloor boot smaller door mirrors in good position go for top bhp bottom forget bottom one Easy to park Thanks

Great video :) That new grille doesn't look too bad on this, but I'd prefer the outgoing one. Overall, the exterior is grand. I'm not sure about the red on the dash, though. It looks a tad out of place, I think.

It suites the car I think. I would like this kind of design on something like a hatchback or even a 4X4 but it suites the crossover market ☺️ it looks good in back as it’s more subtle!

Im the same, loved my Ecosport but has been priced out as the Down payment on motability is so high and they dont do Auto's anymore,had a Veauxhall Corsa a few yearsago and it was cheap and nasty so tinny and plastic, wonder if this will be better for noise and that!

The reason there won’t be a hybrid or electric version is because it’s built on the old PSA PF1 platform. The new Mokka and new Peugeot 2008 have electric versions because they are built on PSA EMP1 (CMP) platform.

2019 Crossland X. Owned since new. 16,900 miles on the clock. Needed rear discs replaced due to corrosion at 15,000 miles in summer 2021 and now fronts being replaced due to excess grooving at 16,900. I know discs are pretty cheap but all 4 corners needing done on a car owned from new in 2 years/17,000 miles is pretty garbage. Not like I'm heavy on the brake pedal or absolutely gunning it. Hope they've upgraded some of the components in the new model because 17,000 for all 4 corners to need new brake discs is garbage.

Because you’re not doing enough miles. That happens on all cars if not used enough. The brakes rust up and weaken (the reason for the grooving) Nothing to do with Vauxhall. 16,900 miles in 3 years is absolutely nothing.

Peugheot 2008 has 409+29lt = 438lt boot space. How is it smaller thanthe 410lt of the Crossland...???

@@Manalishi1704 you can infact sit in the seats when slid forwards 03:40 just not overly comfortably , also i think the gain over the Peugeot 2008 is in the dubble floor... take out the first floor and you get an additional 10 cm easy of deeper flooring

Nice well presented video. Shame about the black un-interesting grille of the front, also the crazy Barbie Doll bright red dash . A real distraction for driving safely. Look a nice car, but needs to be really thought through in more sensible detail.

I actually quite like the new black grille but I do agree that the bright dash is a bit much however, I do believe it is just for this trim and the other trim levels are slightly more subtle... unfortunately still lots of shiny plastic but not bright red. Glad you enjoyed the presentation.

@@louisewall3187 mine arrives this week after cancelling my first order (factory order) reordering the same car that was in stock exact same car the new Crossland ultimate nav (21 plate) The one I'm getting is red with the black roof I had ordered the all black one but the dealership were taking the actual piss. Try get a stock one even if you have to travel the wait times on a factory order is ridiculous your looking 25wks plus extra weeks if it's an ultimate/elite or an auto. I'm starting to get excited now 🥳

As with the Astra Sports Tourer, for me the horrible trim 1:12 along the roof line and back quarter really brings the Crossland down. Coming from an earlier generation, the trim reminds me of an old fashioned baby's pram, the bit you used to secure the hood. Nothing remotely like that trim on the Grandland.

Don't buy had nothing but trouble with this car would randomly not start Vauxhall had it 4 times but couldn't fix had to change it for a corsa in the end

Loving the new stripe and interior. Personally though, I think the old style is far nicer than the new. The new one reminds me of The night rider! That one straight black panel at the front is just hideous. I think I would personally skip the new model and go straight for the Mocha.

I simply do not understand hatchbacks on stilts. How does raising the ride height make anything better? I was watching a little kid trying to get into an SUV yesterday and it was a complete hassle for the lil dude. While I'm having a rant.. What's with the high roof? Nobody wears top hats anymore... The day will come when SUVs will go out of fashion simply because they're odd and not great at anything in particular

Hahah, the female 22-35 absolutely love this segment. I think strangely it just makes you feel more confident on the road, I 100% know where you’re coming from. It’s definitely a trend at the moment. I upgraded a lot of Polos to T-rocs when I was at VW.

@@jamesinbradford5882 I've heard this before. I live opposite a large senior citizens club in Au and have only ever seen one SUV, they all drive sedans and hatchbacks, hundreds of them. I don't see OAPs driving SUVs either. It's always 30 sumthings with baby seats in the back. I'm 55 and have broken my back twice, I don't find getting in or out of a car on stilts any easier than a regular vehicle. If anything getting into a Hilux is harder than getting into my Mini Cooper so in my experiences this old people story simply doesnt fly very far.

A very good video review...This convinces me that i won't be buying a Vauxhall. all Gimmicks and colours with little substance or quality in my Humble Opinion. To be fair we still drive a 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero Estate which still beats the Crossland for Safety Reliability quality refinement and comfort so the bar is set high in my mind to begin with. 🙂

I drive a Ford Puma (155 BHP) Hybrid St-Liner-X and it’s fantastic. Nothing I would change. Recently I hired a Europcar rental and requested a Ford. They gave me a black Crossland. Must be a basic one as there was no built in satnav. Apart from the Crossland looking like a London Cab I would like to pinch an analogy from Top Gear when Clarkson was there. If the two cars were coffee the the Ford Puma would be a very smooth cappuccino with lots of delicious chocolate sprinkles on top leaving you satisfied thinking I enjoyed that. The Crossland is a cup off mellow birds instant coffee and chicory made with Luke warm water. It would be barely palatable and leaves you with a nasty taste in your mouth.

If you are driving a top spec Ford than of course a base model Vauxhall isn't going to meet your expectations. I also sense a little of "FORD FAN BOY" and if that is true no Vauxhall is going to be satisfactory.

@@williamegler8771 patronising much! I also sense a little boy fan of Vauxhall. Did I hurt your feelings? You are right, having driven both and having to stretch to find first gear on a gear box that is clearly designed for the left hand drive market I did conclude that the Crossland was probably cheap and low spec for a reason. Oh and before you suggest a Moka I have also driven one of them and again does not come near my Puma. Having looked at the thread it would appear that many others have reached similar opinions to mine. If only when hiring the car they had delivered the car ordered and not the one they had left at the time, which in it’s self tells a story. 🙄

Possibly the worst car I have ever driven. The 1.2 is so underpowered, it has to be redlined to keep up with traffic on slip roads.

@@leofender5033I am going from an Astra 1.0 turbo tech line to a 1.2L Crossland elite I took it for a test drive today and after 5 mins of driving I had it sussed out first gear isn’t great if you get it into second as quick as possible it’s nippy now my Astra is very nippy and I did not find much difference, gears are further apart but hey ho ,i was a bit surprised to be honest how good it pulled cabin is quiet and the engine can be heard but it gives a nice grunt for its size .
