I genuinely never considered the fact that a standard spec car could look good, until I saw this one. It's a totally basic car but yet somehow it still looks incredible. Well done VW, the new Golf is SERIOUSLY incredible to look at.

I've owned 5 golfs in my time and each one has been slightly better than the last... but if I but one of these it'll finally be a step backwards. the design is just unforgivable and they've barely progressed the rest of the car since the last regeneration. too busy with stupid electric cars than making sure their loyal consumers get what they actually want

I like it, but as I said it's a marmite design. Hopefully with the GTI and 'R' versions, you'll like it a bit more and think it's not a step backwards.
