2021 VW Atlas Rearview Mirror Homelink Garage Door Program

Like I mention in the video, I didn’t see anything online for this exact style or model for the rear view mirror homelink. Similar to the older style but different of course. Short and sweet to the point just like we like!
This is a 2021.5 VW Atlas but I think the style is all the same 2019+? Idk I didn’t look that up 🤷🏽‍♂️

This worked on a 2023 VW ID.4 , thank you. I tried to program the second button on the mirror first and that didn't seem to work, but when I programmed the 1st button and then the 2nd button, it worked fine.

I honestly had so many issues, as I couldn't find someone advising with the buttons on the rear view mirror like mine. Located this one and "BOOM" easy peasy. My man appreciate you posting this and helping others. You honestly removed a great deal of stress. Thank you

Yes remote must be synced, it helps the atlas learn the frequency/signal!

That's a tough one, I had a friend who had the same situation and we went ahead and just bought one that would sync/match with his garage door opener (they aren't too bad priced from what I saw) and then he ended up using it in his other vehicle that didn't have the garage door button on the mirror.
