Genius steady rest! Love the idea. One tip I found for homemade wooden Morse tapers is to put a screw in the center of the skinny side. So when you smack it with your knockout bar, it doesn't stick into the wood. Sometimes the wood ones get jammed in there pretty good and the screw let's you smack it right out. Thanks for all you guys do, I'm slowly going through the back catalog of the weekly meetings and really enjoying the content.
