Thanks for the tip, my unit is acting just as you described. However, it started around 35 hours. Now it has 55 hours on it. Will try to clean the system as my dealer is quite a ways away.

Yeah I have multiple friends with same issues on defenders.. They must have put some terrible fuel..

I never run 87 Premium fuel on all my toys and lawn equipment. They sit for months at a time and fire up

Same issue on 2022 with 10 hours; takes 5 cycles to start when temp below 40F. Will be load testing battery and then trying to clean the fuel system next. I've put 0W-40 synthetic for the winter.

From what I understand is the fuel line is breaking down in the inside and plugs injector screens. After fuel system flush it runs great with more power

Another guy on youtube bought one off the lot Dec. 15th.. he went to get it the 16th and it had a recall for fuel line problems.. His was fixed and he picked it up the 30th.. I wonder if this is same issue you had..

How do you like the JL audio top. Just asking because I'm thinking about getting one when i order my defender.

Get a audioformz… I put a lot of money in the JL top to make it sound good.. it has a 200 watt amp..

Your dealer can… if getting a cab model order the limited and have dealer order the roof.. The do it right and do it once is definitely Audioformz. I wish my unit had it now. The heat rejection is worth it.. JL top is hollow plastic..

I have a 22 Defender XMR 1000, does your turnover really slow like it has a second or 2 hesitation and then it starts right up? That's what mine does and it looked like yours did it to in your video. This is my first Can Am and am just wondering if all the Defenders are like that? Otherwise it starts fine just has a second or 2 hesitation before it actually turns over.🤔 I came from 2 Yamaha SxS.

Yes mine does it also.. I replaced battery and it still does it..

Can am has no projected date for parts to resolve the recall

These machines have a stop ride recall for the fuel line shedding into the fuel system. Can am knew about the issue and shipped units for sale, they have no projected dates for the parts to fix the recall…..was my first can am purchase pretty disappointed

The fuel injection system does NOT run well with Ethanol Free gas , that stuff is for carbureted engines . Can Am will not warranty any part of the fuel system if it has ethanol free fuel in it .

I let mine warm up, even on warm days. Minimal 1-2 min. Maybe that will help you.

After dealer flushed fuel system it fires right up and go..
