Gorgeous little boat James, and you're absolutely correct when you say the're superbly built..... very high quality item.... and such a pretty colour..... definately one to tie up on your waterfront ..... I think Carl Keikhaefer looks very dashing in that hat.....perhaps we should all get one.... 👍

Lovely boat 👍 I thought Active Trim is a Mercury add-on that automatically trims the outdrive or outboard angle, not the tabs. But I may be mistaken.

As an American, love the socks and the boat. A 15 year loan on a boat is great incentive to get someone into a bigger boat. They are paying for a boat already, so they are used to paying it and then you convince them to trade in their boat and get in a slightly older, but bigger and a proper yacht. Go from a day boat with no accommodations to proper Calvin's amd heads, bring a family and friends out for a day, or just take yourselves, the kids and may e the grandparents or friends and overnight camp on the boat. They get used to that, make more money and next thing you know they are on a Princess 78 or something with a crew taking the yacht way down to St. Barth's. Cause they are risk takers. All because you sold them a Cobalt back in the day.

Nice video and nice boat, but don't include depreciation figures or it increases the cost falsely and makes it look twice as expensive. You are buying 100% of the boat with the loan, so calculating depreciation (which is a drop) means you are paying for that part twice, as ALL of the boat is included in the loan. In short, if you are paying for the entire boat personally, you are already allowing for 100% depreciation when you pay for it because you buy 100% of the boat, yet the boat is still worth a lot at the end of the loan. After the loan is finished, you get that value back, you don't get a bill for the part that depreciated, and you never do. Depreciation is only relevant if you are buying through a business for the P&L account, and then you can offset this with the asset value on the balance sheet against the liability of the loan. Depreciation has no real bearing on a personal purchase.

Brilliant as always but don't like anything American. Also like a little cabin, even on a day boat (ie Nick Brennan's boat is perfect) if you're into day/ weekend boats. I want a flybridge one day.
