Sig Hansen, Captain of the Northwestern from the famous show "The Deadliest Catch", ordered a new Cobalt R8 Surf from Seattle Boat Co. Cobalt invited him out to view his boat being built at the factory before getting it delivered to his summer home dock in Lake Entiat, Washington. My dad worked for Cobalt Boat Company in Neodesha Kansas for almost 35 years after he retired from the Rock Island Railroad. He was always so proud of his Cobalt Boat family and the Pack St Clair family for being so good to him. Unfortunately my dad passed away in May 2022, he is missed so much.

My landscaping business takes care of Cobalt's lawn. I remember seeing it when they rolled it out and i thought wow what a awesome color scheme. It was definitely different from most i see roll out. Had no idea it was going to such a great and accomplished family. Your wife did wonderful Sig!

Sig you deserve it my man. You're a true legend, and I've watched you work, so hard and dominate those waters. Since day one, you and Phil, "God bless his soul" have always been my favorite captains. I love my boat, and fully restored all of her. To give me that true water therapy, enjoy my vessel, we out on mother natures, beautiful oceans. God bless you and your family! One of the hardest working men on the ocean. Nice to see he’s getting to enjoy himself a bit. We are all getting older and he’s already had those close calls that happen to some of us. Enjoy it while we got it boys. 👍🏻

Kudos to Cobalt and Seattle Boat for putting together this nice video. Sig may have a little more time to enjoy it this winter with some of the crabbing restrictions.
