We have returned to Costa Rica for a brief business trip! We are back at Christian Vargas’ Homestead and Farm with Brendon Mckeon after a couple years since being here last! He has added many new water-features, acquired more land and MANY more plants and fruit trees! Enjoy the tour and stay tuned for Part 2!
Christian Vargas is a native to Costa Rica & we got the lucky chance to meet him & check out his incredible homestead, thanks to Brendon McKeon of Natural Living Designs & Eco Oasis' KZfaq channel. Brendon co-hosts this tour as a great friend to Christian & not only is he our trusty translator, but he is the mastermind behind Natural Living Designs, a permaculture development design & build firm. If you have questions, or would like to be in contact with Brendon, you can send an email to him at: brendon@naturallivingdesigns.com

What a gorgeous paradise Christian has! All of the natural water flowing through his property makes his plants and trees come alive. Makes me want to take a dip. I admire how he adores his orchids and points them out to us, so fascinating to see them growing on his trees. Glad he shared that. Looking forward to part 2.

ChempaJack sounds interesting. I'd like to try it one day. I don't know if you have heard about tarap fruit. It's quite similar with chempedak and jackfruit but the taste is more towards durians. They're native here in Malaysia and Indonesia
