The statement waist accessories are making a major comeback from the disco 80's with new updated vibe, and now its cargo everything, and the metallica was major in the accessories department, it was present in the FW streetstyle photos. For some reason your video seems to be all over the place for me but that could be on my part. The oversize blazers are such a chill out pulled together style but now blazers are being designed to be a statement portion of a look. You can tell what is in demand while thrifting because of the lack of availability on the racks and price hikes, because it gets on everyone radar. I agree that last year we saw a decline in the sustainability trend. I guess this is because we are so much past the pandemic. When COVID was still visibly there, everyone was afraid for their lives and where the world was heading and was making efforts to make it a better place. Now people are not that concerned, and their behavior has changed. Which is strange, given that it's not like the last year was so nice. In 2022, the world witnessed an unprovoked war full of outrageous Russian atrocities against civilians in Ukraine. Probably, COVID was perceived as something external and natural-ish while the war and the atrocities are all manmade, and so sustainability is now an answer to it.

Honestly I’ve gotten a lot of Green last year because I could finally find it, this year I’m going for Magenta and Clear orange though i’m starting to see a black comeback… bth I don’t care. I’m getting my fill of colour still NEED it. But contrasted with black linen this summer yeah…also after having not coloured my hair for a couple of years I’m ready to do it and get a pixiecut and a Uma thurman in Pulp Fiction wig and huge sunglasses.

Personally, I think 2022 was the year of "dupes" due to the rise of Tik Tok (nothing wrong if you shop dupes), but it caused for a lot of fast fashion brands or even Amazon unfortunately to steal designs from indie or small-business brands. I feel as if we're in a period where there's so much fast fashion and old/new trends crossing over that personal style is a bit lost and everyone looks the same. Hoping 2023/24 brings in new perspective and inspiration. Love your videos and love your insight! 💟
