Yes Darrel, I have an AWD I show on my channel. It drives like a little race truck especially in sport mode.

The 10mpg difference was enough for me to go fully Hybrid and skip the Ecoboost all together

The hybrid saves u more than 100miles per refill, which I’d say is a pretty good win.

On my channel I show both versions that I own. The turbo hwy mpg is much less than a difference of 10. More like 3 or 4. Better passing power, more capable and more fun to drive. It's a tough decision so we decided on one of each. Hybrid for city mpg and summer road trips. Turbo AWD for snow and light off road.

It depends on where you live and what you do. If you drive on highways a lot the ecoboost is a no brainer bc you can get it better equipped with fx4, raptor, and 4K tow. You can still get 30mpg on the highway and the hybrid only gets like 33 after sacrificing all that performance. The hybrid on the other hand is perfect if you live in a city or a suburb and commute to a city in traffic every day. I’d like to see a fleet version of the hybrid with a single cab and 6ft bed for commercial use.

@Evil Tomato Yes! As a road trip vehicle with much safer driving in mud and snow, get the turbo AWD. It is very fast and fun, like a little race truck.

Agreed, having a hybrid but not AWD is a bit of a downer.

Leo, I have a lot of Mav size comparisons to other trucks on my channel.

batteries have a 10 year warranty I believe, not that it matters, to you, but maybe someone else still making their mind will see this. Around 7+ year mark should notice a big hit in the batt. enough for a replacement form warranty

On paper the Hybrid should be as its non-turbo engine and has a E-cvt which typically more reliable than a standard auto..or at least as good as the best ones made.

Believe the hybrid has had more recalls

Yes Leo, the turbo engine makes my Mav like a little race truck. But get awd for no wheel spin. Hwy mpg not much different than the hybrid. I plan on getting a tune to over 300HP after the warranty is up. Ask any questions on my channel.

Because there is a market demand for it. I ordered mine with AWD and the 4k tow not offered with the lesser powered hybrid. I would rather have less fuel economy than less power for what I need it for. Ford did the right thing offering both power plants. I am just happy to have a truck that isnt enormous which is why I purchased it. 162hp does not meet my needs for driving highways over mountains and poor weather. The 250hp with AWD does. Different strokes for different folks as the phrase goes. I am glad to see they offer a hybrid for the people that want it, in an urban area its perfect.

@@JBanksy78 Hybrid: 191 hp @5600 RPM & 155 lb-ft torque @4000 RPM Ecoboost: 250 hp @5500 RPM & 277 lb-ft torque @3000 RPM Ecoboost has every advantage in power and towing capacity (with 4k pkg) plus you can get it in AWD. Hybrid's only advantage is fuel economy.
