Husqvarna recently announced minor updates to their 2022 FS 450, a pretty crazy supermoto offering with some impressive specs. New for the 2022 version will be the Brembo Hydraulic Clutch system, with the brand promising perfect, fade free performance in all conditions.
Also updated for 2022 is the look, enough for the initiated to tell the different year models apart, with the latest version running blue fork protectors and different graphics on the tank plastics, where yellow was more prominent previously.
The FS 450 is a competition based machine, meaning these aren't road registerable here in Australia if you were thinking of becoming top dog in your local supermoto circles on one of these - out on the road at least - and they only came with a one-month warranty last year, with pricing at $15,495 Australian dollars.
I haven't spotted updated Australian pricing for the 2022 however, or for anywhere else, with the 2021 FS 450 previous priced at $11,299 in the USA.

I love this FS model !! I've done a Supermoto setup on my 22 FE501 SM Pro rims, Haan hubs, Moto Master Discs, Vortex ECU and FMF Ti Slip on. The FE's come with a smaller throttle body and less aggressive cam profile unfortunately ... I like to get the shorter FS front guard.. Don't think that one would fit as these come with wider triple clamps... I'd like to know if there is any differences motor wise between this FS and the FC450 ???

@@alexvalerio7061 Different wheels & front brake (obviously) triple clamp is a tiny bit wider with a shorter front guard. Not sure about the suspension. I believe that everything else is fhe same.

Crazy this makes 63hp! I thought my FE501S was pretty fast and it has like 40hp stock.

Purely for the track, I take it as no lights. The Maguro clutch slave cylinders always fail. I think I'd rather have the road-going 701SM.

Yep purely competition from what I understand. That 701 is awesome as well, but a fair bit heavier, although I guess that's expected carrying all the road components. I really liked the look of the Enduro as an ADV option!

I wish the 450 was road going. Though, I think they should be 500s or 525s and they would be perfect. Most can’t benefit from the extra displacement anyway
