2022 IDPA National Championship - 7th Place Nationwide in Carry Optics - Canik Darkside Rival

After a very long week of traveling and shooting, the 2022 IDPA National Championship is in the books! Unfortunately I was not able to meet my goal this year in terms of my finish, but considering the circumstances I was happy to still place 7th Nationwide in Carry Optics against some of the best in the sport.
The weather and range at Cameo were beautiful, the stages were well designed, and the match itself was ran very smoothly by the incredible staff who traveled from all over the country to work the match. A big thanks to them for making this event possible!
I made the mistake of being a little to greedy with some of my stage plans which costed me big time, and had a few problems with my ammunition on one of the critical stages, but on the stages I did connect with I was satisfied with my performance. I will continue to improve and be back stronger next year!

That’s huge, I know the malfunction costed time and it would have been awesome to see your name above his! But thank you for bringing the demi-gods down to a human level! To put it into perspective, How many of those dudes are sponsored pros? Excellent work my friend!

Nicely done! Great vids! Im a CO Ex and really like your stage plans. The new no slide lock rule is greay and I see you taking advantage of that.

The stock trigger is SO good, does the Freedomsmith make it better?

Those first 3 targets (2 paper 1 steel) were in the open.
