I love seeing an Aussie review of the stinger. If there’s anyone I can trust with fast 4 door saloon type vehicles it is the Australians. I just bought one of these today and I love it.

@@Stainlessautos hows the handling is it stiff or is there much body roll? Also the ride is it smooth or moderate/stiff? I have a genesis g80 but need something bit more power, but dont want to compromise ride quality arrghh im caught between choosing several diff cars

@@jamiefreedom8320 honestly for my use it’s just right. I think sport can be a bit jarring for normal use, so I normally do sport drivetrain, engine, and trans with comfort steering and suspension. It eats miles on the freeway and is very comfortable for Michigan roads which are notoriously bad lol. Body roll is ok, it’s not perfectly flat, but it’s also not a boat. I’ve heard good things about adding anti roll bars but haven’t made the jump.

Every drive in my 22 Stinger is an adventure. Recently did a 5000km road trip, no sore or sweaty back😁. The fuel economy is amazing, driving back from QLD I was cruising at 1E0kmph at 1800rpm for 200kms and got 7 litres per 100kms. If u can afford it I highly recommend getting one. It makes you laff and smile on every trip.

Great review, on the 2022 Kia Stinger GT, I love this car, because I own a 2018 MY18 Stinger GT in Deep Chroma Blue, my ownership anniversay of 4 years and 6 months is today.

I have ordered my GT Stinger a few months ago. I have added some upgrades that Kia are arranging, it will be lower 2 inches, 20 inch wheels (5 spoke black) Flow front splitter, side and rear defuses, exhaust upgrade and carbon fiber upgrades inside.

KIA didn't offer any official upgrades. Are they aftermarket and if so what does that do to your warranty?

@@brendanallen2468 there’s some dealerships that offer these aftermarket modifications. For instance, it’s a catback exhaust so the warranty is not affected!

Excellent review of a supercar. I love mine In my humble opinion, when everything such as price, standard equipment, driving experience and warranty are taken into consideration, there is not a better value for money car on the road. If Kia stop making these, I believe they may become collector cars.

"And as for rattles and squeaks, I can't hear any." You got lucky. I have the common hatch rattle/squeak which is super annoying. I need to fix that soon (luckily others have figured out exactly how to remedy this).

For those thinking of buying one. Mate works at a large KIA dealer and has said that they think December there will be official word about its demise. They aren't really taking orders anymore and when they do they make sure that it's in the contract that you may not get one. He thinks they might not honor any new orders.

Kia reaaaaally dropped the ball on the Stinger. Should have lifted it from the brand. I will drive mine until it falls apart. Best winter car I've ever had, no other dual turbo is really usable up here in northern Scandinavia, when the temps drop below - 20 C. The Stinger? Just start and go.. Man, KIA, how could you have dropped it so hard when it came to the Stinger?! Love the Video btw!

@productReview Cars, to have it not auto shift you need to be in sport mode with everything off, TC, and SC and it wont upshift for you!

I bought this car last year after trading in my 370z. It’s one of the best cars I have ever been in. The cabin could be a little bit quieter is the only real complaint.

@@ProductReviewCars it's like 2 different cars when you throw in sport or manual mode. also when you are in the city you can throw it in eco mode and get like 25mpg which is pretty dang good for a v6 twin turbo boat imo lol.

It’s not “rose gold”, my friend, it is black chrome accents, and unfortunately it gets discolored with time giving the black chrome a “rainbow” effect.

this says Kia Stinger GT...is this a GT-Line or a GT2? Or the models not the same overseas as in the US?

Models are different in different regions. I have a 2020 awd base gt. Pretty sure Canada doesn't even offer a rwd version. Makes sense though, I live in MN and I've only seen a couple rwd cars for sale, my guess is that they were shipped up here from different states. Pretty sure the US got the 2.0t, 2.0t premium 2.0t gt-line, 2.5t gt-line, base gt, g1, gt2, GTS, indigo blue special edition, scorpion, Grand Tourer models throughout it's run.

Best bang for buck 6cyl performance saloon but being low slung if your above 5.8 forget it recently I looked at it but found the Cerato gt was easier to entry exit than the stringer

I have the 2020 Stinger GT, and my only wish was that it would stay in the mode I left it in. Every time I restart it goes back to Comfort mode!!! Although, I'm so glad we didn't get that craptastic auto start/stop mode they got in the US.

I'm thinking of getting the 4 cylinder for gas mileage and reliability, the inline 4 seem more reliable than the 6. Anyone own the 6 cylinder how do you like it

If you want the best gas mileage, go the 4 cylinder. Want the fastest and better sounding car? Go for the 6.
