Hey, man. I know you’re currently having issues with your bike. But I’m planning on trading my 300 XCW for a 22 SMC R this week. Would you still recommend the bike or not so much?

Hey! I would still recommend the bike because it’s so much fun to ride and I can’t think of a truly similar bike.. ofc there are others but none with exactly the features of a 690. E.g. long service intervals, ability to do highway, still full supermoto capability etc. The only thing is that all this comes with a trade off in my opinion. The bike is just not as reliable as others and you might have to fix a few things here or there on warrantee. I don’t think it will ever be as bad as it was with mine though. Still believe that was out of the ordinary. I have put another 1k on it now without a hitch. Anyway, with all this in mind don’t worry and go for the trade! It’s an amazing ride.
