I saw the video when you guys put them together. It looks like a lot of fun when you and your buddy get one. These bikes are starting to sell pretty well here where I live. Have you guys done an oil change on your bikes? Do you know what oil these take? The manual just says 15W-40, but it doesn’t say if it’s normal oil or a specific kind. I don’t even know if this has a wet clutch. Let me know and keep those videos coming. You should make a video about your honest opinion of these bikes.

Thanks for watching! Wet clutch - yes. We use Rotella t4 15w-40. I've already put together a website with all this information, and we have a nice facebook group too: kpx250.com/specifications/

You need to use a wet clutch oil made specific for motor cycle quad's or dirt bikes you can get Mobil one or Valvoline motor cycle oil at any local auto store.

@@johnsmith-oh2xo yep, basically any oil with wet clutch additive of jaso-mc printed on the back.

are these things any good at wheelies? like do they clutch up and power wheelie in first and second?

You can clutch up in first.. second is pushing it. They're not power monsters being only 250cc. More made for cruising and trail riding

You guys lower air in tires? I saw other video of pro rider on hawk bike tube blew out because tire slip on rim when he burn rubber kind of on grass or gravel and realized china bike does have rim bead lock!

We don't bother lowering pressure because we're constantly between the road and the trail. It's good enough for basic trail riding and even some decent mud.
