This is the 2022 Maserati Levante GT hybrid, it features a 2 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine which when combined with the e-booster 48V mild-hybrid system produces 330HP. The Levante GT can hit 60mph from rest in just 6 seconds which is the same as the larger engined Modena, the GT hybrid has identical performance figures as the 3 litre V6 but uses around 18% less fuel and has lower emissions.
Maserati has worked hard to keep the Maserati DNA in this smaller engined entry level SUV, but has it succeeded? Matt went to find out.

4:41 - I.C.E is Increased Control & Efficiency (not internal combustion engine) mode. It's Maserati's Eco mode, useful for motorways where you normally don't need the sporty acceleration that's delivered in normal or sport mode.

I just looked at a new one, beautiful style and stunning interior especially the leather, they are very expensive, I had a brand new Maserati 3200gt in 2000 until 2004 and after 59 cars that I’ve owned and many more of them more expensive than the Maserati. I must confess that owning a Maserati was a joy and a cool thing with tons of flair that the Germans simply can’t come close to. The history pulls you in. You can follow everyone with your everyday polished German 4x4 car or be cool with style and buy a Maser.

They aren’t pillarless doors (the B-pillar is fixed). The windows are frameless.

Good one Matt. Frame-less doors, try the Audi Q8...RSQ8. [The brother of the Lambo Urus....only you save a lot of cash! ] Cannot wait for when you get opportunity to drive new Range Rover Sport. In your words ...''What a machine!''. Hope to you have seen Jess Hawkins drive the RR Sport 'up' The Spillway? If not Google right now! Unbelievable! Thanks again.

My wife wanted to get this but after seeing the inside she bought a Benz. The interior looks so old and cheap. Doesn't even have a full digital cluster for that price point as well as other tech
