I played basketball against this guy a few times as I grew up in Spokane (near Seattle) and I have a steal from him. Will always be my greatest accolade, he’s so good!!! He ws like 6 8 in 8th grade and we all thought he was like 20! Good luck in college!

Houston is in great shape to get either him or Chet to pair with KJ, Jalen Green, Josh and Seungun

I really like him, but personally would be worried about him on Houston just because rn KPJ and JG are not great on defense though I do think they'll improve. Chet or maybe Jabari Smith sound like a better fit, though in this interview Paolo seems like a really smart and self aware players so maybe he can make the defensive leap st Duke

@@jacekkaplon200 he’s not a bad defender he just never had to care as the comp he played was significantly below him usually when players get to the higher levels the focus more on defense

@@jovantesobers7789 sure but the way he described his defense on pick and rolls you can tell he's bad in aspects like that, like a top player will never straight up say that but he made it clear he has a ton of growth left. I do like him a lot though and if one of KPJ or Jalen looks better on D than expected I'd love to have him

Can’t wait for the next and final film sesh during pre daft with Paolo in the next few weeks analyzing his college tape. He seems really honest, and seems like he knows his strengths and weaknesses as a human being, much less a basketball player…that barely scratches the surface of what paolo can become..he would be a treasure if he lasts to Houston at #3..Porter jr Banchero & Jalen with Sengun sauce 🙏🚀🚀🚀

There are many Amazing Italian players even today : Belinelli Hackett Fontecchio Mannion Melli Polonara Tonut and don't forget about the super young prospects (Banchero, Procida, Spagnolo, Pajola, Naoni)

ESPN ranking scouts not a realable source, close to not legit just concentrating on american soil, Der are a lot of good players outside why not look outside Sorry espn just tellig my side

Mike does a really good job, they don't do the international ones typically because of the language barrier, doesn't mean they aren't scouted. If you have espn+ you can typically see his mocks and big boards, he's typically pretty accurate with international prospects. ESPN just shows Stephen A and other talking heads that just get ratings for bad takes.
