The 2022 PSE Carbon Levitate is one of the highest anticipated bows of the year. This PSE Levitate is one of the lightest and fastest bows on the market. In this review, we cover every aspect of the 2022 PSE Levitate, and give our honest, unbiased opinion. This is a performance driven bow that is versatile enough for the western mountains, all the way the way to the eastern hardwoods. I've been a PSE fan for years and have owned quite a few if not most of their higher end hunting bows including the PSE EVO EVL, PSE Carbon Air Mach 1, and many many more. Assuming 20gr on the string, the Adjusted IBO with your setup is 348-350…pretty impressive. Definitely a performance bow.

It’s very impressive. If you can look past that draw cycle a little, the bow will shoot. The draw cycle is also relative when you consider every bow manufacturer in the last 10 years has focused on smoothness. Which these are, it’s just stiff.

Definitely agree with the IBO statement. Love the review. I dont meet IBO specs DL is 28"

I have a PSE carbon bow from the early 80s. Back then carbon meant The limbs were carbon as opposed to wood or fiberglass I guess. It’s a pretty good little shooter. And by little I mean 48 inch axle to axle compound

Just an FYI- PSE's first carbon riser bow came out in 1995. (it was not terribly good, but...)

At 7:16 what is the horrible noise before hitting back wall? That will be awful for hunting…

uff those rusty screw on the backbarmount ... how many dollars for american quality pfff For these money they have to put stainless steel screws on every possible part !

It’s not actually rusty it just looks like that in the video from the angle. That being said, I do 100% agree they should be titanium or stainless. They were doing that for a little while and I really liked it

It’s actually a very clean looking bow . It’s not crazy like everything else in the market.

Says a Mathews or Hoyt shooter lol... this is a great-looking bow and it's so light and so fast it's crazy.. I'm shooting this bow at 31-inch draw with a 418 in Black Eagle Rampage Arrow and getting over 300 ft per second but if your pussy the back wall is a little stiff ... and not take in the fact this is the fastest smoothest lightest hunting bow ever developed... I have a friend that shoots indoor spot Vegas Target with this bow and shoots 300s... it flat-out shoots... and damn it's good looking... did I mention over 300 ft per second at 60 lb and yes it's 60 lb it's a pretty smooth draw

It has the ABSOLUTE worst draw cycle of any bow I have EVER pulled back. Lite weight, yes, the aesthetics is up to each individual, but the draw cycle is just atrocious. Dudley wanted more speed I get it, but I'd be ashamed to put my name on that bow. If that is what it takes to give it you have to give up almost everything to get it. No thanks...

Lol I think that’s a little harsh. As described in the video, it very similar to the full throttle and you can’t take away that the bow is very efficient with heavy arrows. When it gets right down to it, when you’re hunting you don’t think about draw cycle but what does matter is how fast that arrow is moving. The draw cycle is a little rough, I’ll give you that.

Sorry gotta disagree It’s stiff for sure but not terrible if you aren’t trying to pull more weight than you should. Matthews are stiff like this with a little less dump but no where near the speed

Mathews bow are definitely the worst drawing bows over the last 7 years. They haven't changed in 7 years, and people keep buying them.

Horrible design by PSE, have owned almost all high end PSE carbon/aluminum bows and have loved them, Pete Sheply and the PSE engineers should have not been drawn by persons signature/preference on a bow design, shot 20 arrows with the Levitate to try to force myself to at least like it a little bit, didn't happen, this draw cycle is horrible for such a expensive bow
