The Chevy had a better looking exterior for interiors personally I rather not have so much tech because it’s just extra stuff to go out and after the warranty period stuff like that can get expensive so I’m gonna go with the Chevy. The rebel is a nice truck at the end of the day just kinda basic looking.

Nice review. I really love the red interior. I wish more vehicles would have a red option. In the 90s red interior was common in all trucks. So some of my observations. The Trail Boss actually has three engine options for 2022. The 5.3 and 6.2 but also the 3.0 diesel. And for the refresh I think even the high output 2.7 but I’d have to look that up to be certain. So the diesel option is there for the Trail Boss and it would also have the 10 speed. Another thing is the fuel economy. The Trail Boss has a specific epa rating just for it so that’s why it’s lower than a standard Silverado. The Rebel does not and it just uses the standard Ram rating, which as TFL pointed out a couple years ago it will not achieve. And finally the pricing is a big win for the Trail Boss. Especially with what all the Ram is missing (auto climate and rear power outlets are big ones, especially for 61k). Looks wise you can go either way. That’s all personal preference. I’m a Chevy guy but the red interior gets my vote for the Ram as reviewed. But the lack of basic options I’m used to would lose out to the Chevy ultimately . Especially at the price. I can buy red seat covers and still be thousands less lol.

I went with Cloth instead of leather. Just don’t like how Leather whether taken care of or not it doesn’t last it cracks etc. So went Black/Red interior with Cloth. 12 in screen, and Level 2 Entertainment. So get those 19 H&K System!!!! My only regret is I didn’t do GT package. However, I can always change the cold air intake and the exhaust to a Borla ATAK and still be 1k less in expenses. And I’d take the Ram just based on 3.92 axle ratio just for the bump in towing capacity. Chevy is 9200!? My 2021 Ram Big Horn does 8k max like what!? Can you really justify spending so much for so little towing capacity? 😬

I look both trucks except that red and gray or red and black interior. Wish that was just black and gray. Not into flashy anymore, those days are gone. I don’t like being pick out in a crowd when I’m doing something I shouldn’t be doing 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The difference in tires is the Ram had Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires and the Chevy had the new Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires. I would have a WAY bigger smile if Ihad the Silverado ZR2 or the GMC AT4X with that 6.2 under the hood. Great comparison video JB.

Chevy exterior kicks ass, 2" raise, beautiful lines, 10 speed transmission has an amazing response time, let's not forget the Auto 4-wheel drive system which is flawless and (the single reason I prefer the truck). Ram interior is beautiful, Chevy has fallen way behind on that, agreed. The Ram interior with the Chevy exterior is the perfect truck, imo.

I dont even consider Fiat as a competitor to American made Trucks. Ram is in the same league as Toyota and Nissan. Buy a Ford or GM if you want a pickup.

The Rebel loaded is a much better truck. GM lacks in everything but the C8.

I like the new Chevy frames they definitely upgraded but the interior stayed the same and that's why I continue to pick Ram over Chevy. Like you I need to see the new interior before I can say I'm trading in my 2021 Rebel

Miss me with e torque. Electric motors suck. The trail boss is more off road capable from the dealership rather than the rebel. In my area the rebel is $134,000 the trail boss is $88,000 .
