I have the 2021 Enduro 300 Fi - the most impressive is how light, balanced which leads to easy turning. My front forks are pretty stiff too. LOVE MY TM!!!!!

That TM seems like a great bike! I hope they continue to grow the brand!

Great review. I just switched from a ‘22 TM Fi to a ‘23 TM carbureted “Pink Edition.” I loved the chassis enough to stick with TM. Parts are no problem at all. I went with carb because it was the last pink one left, so I’ll be really excited to feel the difference. The only real negative I can cite for anyone who’s wondering was fuel range. Even with the big tank it was limited to the same distance as bikes with smaller tanks. I was able to do 45 mile loops in race conditions without drama, but it was getting pretty low.

TM300 is like a exotic dream bike. Surely on my bucket list...

Good vid Greg. They seem like good bikes, the few I've actually seen. My only concern would be dealer coverage and back up, the brand is so small and not too many aftermarket suppliers doing gear for them. Here in Aus they have about 8 dealers in the whole country, Australia is the same physical size as the USA 🙂

You mentioned the spark arrestor screen and that it was causing possible issues with the higher RPMs on the bike. I just finished figuring that out on my Beta. I was running an FMF powercore and using the screen the mid-to-upper power was flat and could not get it to run well. After pulling out the screen I was blown away at the performance of the bike and the power core silencer. Finally managed to get a FMF turbinecore with the spark arrestor built in and performance is fantastic as well. The screens might work if they are kept 100% clean. The problem I had is the grub screws locked in and I could not get it out easily. Just my take but I would not recommend using the spark arrestor screens if you can avoid it.

Tm has had aluminium frames since about 2008. I had an 09 en 450 and it was fantastic.

You have some epic trails to ride. Here in Californicate ya (please excuse my crude description) our trail system shrinks every year, now we have the PCT corridor a mile wide strip that take out miles of single track . The USFS seems to be creating ways to limit motorized use, no matter how much we resist they still do it.

I had to quit riding two years ago due to total neck fusion and sold my KTM 300. If I could ride this would be the bike. I actually have a dealer 15 minutes from my home. What a work of art.

I love my tm 300 en. Mine is the carb version. She riips! The first thing i notice about other bikes is the rear shocks. The tm rear shock is awesome

You're lucky in the US to be able to choose btw the injected and carbed version, here in Spain (I guess the entire EU) you can apparently only order the injected version and I have some kind of 'allergy' against injected two strokes :D

Really enjoyed the video. Awesome to see TM pushing technology forward and doing something different than what everyone else is doing. Hopefully they provide good dealer support on a corporate level and continue to grow the brand. As much as everyone loves the KYB forks, they seem to be universally just a bit too stiff for slower/rougher trails. I've owned the GasGas with the KYBs and ridden the Beta Race Editions, and they're amazing at 20+mph stuff, but rocks, roots, and choppy singletrack just beats me to death over a long day. I've heard that Sherco is a bit softer (haven't ridden one), but it's interesting to hear both you and Berry Morris (cross training enduro) mention that they're still a bit stiff.

I'm in southern oregon and It was bad enough driving 4 hours just to pick up a ktm lol. I could imagine trying to find a tm around here. Saying that I love my 250xc so far first 2 stroke, and plan on getting the tsp power kit with a medium head next season

If the shock is copied from another brand, then it's SÖLVA and not Öhlins. Öhlins is from Sweden and Sölva is from Italy like TM. All TM shocks I have seen so far, look like Sölva. Very nice review. Thanks for the vid!

Woohoo, the reviews are always fun. I'm curious, is parts availability an issue with these bikes if they are hand assembled and in low quantities (compared to competitors)? That 80s pastel color is a hoot, too.

there are few revolutions that change the bike a lot from year to year. a 20 year old bike it's within 10 percent of the new ones, and crazy but sometimes 10 percent on the better side ..I don't even see myself changing the Yamaha that I have ... 😮

Have you ridden the carb version ? I had a 19 300 on a carb and found it lacked bottom and all the power was mid to top it actually felt more like a 250 and was snappy and harsh , suspension was rock solid as was the chassis. I am hoping the new tbi has a plusher ride and a more traditional broad smooth 300 power ….

Have you tried a TPI Bike with vforce4r Membran yet? For my bike this was a complete game changer. So much better throttle control, and a lot more torque in the lower revs. Technically, i dont see any reason why a tpi bike should be worse than tbi, if they are adjusted correctly. Since, tm uses high quality components incl the membranblock anyways, while ktm save a penny on each part, this is more likeley the difference

Hold on a second! KTM is switching from transfer port injection to throttle body fuel injection!? Why? Should I be concerned? I’m buying a new 2022 GASGAS TPI next month. Should I wait for the 2023s to come out? I’ve got a couple of competition enduros coming up that I have planned for the GG. I certainly hope they’re not switching the fuel delivery system because of issues. Your opinion is particularly valuable.

Same bike I have. That one probably has the electric fan and rubber mounted bars as well as the larger tank too. Which map switch were you on? I switched to a 51 rear sprocket and absolutely love it. Pretty sure TM only makes like 1200-1500 bikes worldwide a year.

I really like TM. However that fuel tank is kinda of an eye sore for me. Doesn’t even match the color of the bike. Imo. It it true you have to run 98 octane fuel in that motor?

If you were to get a tm. Would you go fi or carb?

I have always liked TMs and thought they were great looking bikes, but the plastics on that bike look like they are straight out of the 1980s and it is seriously ugly
